I'm sorry but even the simplest and junior of production staff should have anticipated this "issue" weeks ago.

It smacks YET again of audience manipulation and a ruse to get interest in this flagging show.

*IF* this is true (and it's a big if) then she should just walk. No fuss, no drama, just up and leave.

This show has been going how long now and yet people still claim to not understand what they're letting themselves in for. She shuld have read the contract and got legal advice if she wasn't happy. You don't agree to someones T&Cs and then moan because you have to stick to them.

The Cynic in me is saying this is the real reason she didn't perform on Saturday night. I know we're not entitled to, but we were shown coverage of Jade at the Doc's, Jade with her scarf wrapped round the throat and Jade not speaking when she was ill. The fact we have seen not an iota of Lucy speaks volumes. In my opinion anyway.
