Lucy Would Be A Fool To Quit At This Stage
She is the real dark horse in this competition and could squeeze into the final 3.
She is very popular and this thread reflects that. She is within the top 4 acts for YouTube views for the first three weeks and has the third most Twitter followers. She is very popular and could go far in this competition. |

She should try busking , she has the perfect image and just about enough talent for it.

Think of the songs she could write about it all though.
It's a planted story, she was probably one of the ones who was invited in the first place. If she does 'quit' over not being able to do her 'thing' it will be in a blaze of publicity rather than rejection and probably resurface on Syco later to show us more of her 'thing'. |

An incredible statement. Someone who actually creates songs being slated as untalented on a forum for a show where the recipients have absolutely ZERO talent other than to copycat successful artists.
I've heard it all now. I'm not worried about Lucy as I think she's going to be fine. She's managed to showcase herself and probably wants out before she has to go on the tour. She'd prefer to use that time for a solo tour. Also, having signed a contract, any songs she writes at the moment will be owned by X Factor: she doesn't want to keep doing that. I hope she gets out as soon as possible when this turns out to be her choice. She would be a fool to stay, rather than quit.

So do we think Lucy was really ill on Saturday or was it part of this 'quit' scenario and Lucy refused to sing a cover and does not have any Halloweenish material?

Better to go out with XF's favourite word 'credibility' intact than risk damaging any future career. And she is already signed to Syco now like the others remember. The contracts are brutal, whatever she does it will be because that's what they want her to do. |
