Jade Ellis says....

"she was axed from the X FACTOR because of tactical voting...

she performed better on Sunday...

and that the judges are trashing decent singers who pose a threat to their own acts."

Although I agree to some of the things she has said, what are your opinions?

Its a competition so obviously the judges are going to think about their own acts. But I have never really thought about the judges axing contestants who pose a threat to their acts until now.

I agree with OP and tactical voting has being going on for years on XF so I don't know why she is going on about it. All contestants know this happens all the time so they should accept fate. I'm sad that Jade left as I liked her but I think it's time to move on now.

She's totally right, she was much better than Union J.. that White Flag performance = Flawless.

If I was a judge on XF I would also get rid of any singer that potentially had the ability to beat one of the singers in my catagory - the judging process on XF is so biased because all the judges are in competition with each other. For it to reflect the voting public the eliminated act should be the one the public vote off every week.

Lucy is allowed a bye when not well, Jade has to carry on regardless, fair or unfair?
Because of the judges severe conflict of interest, it would be better if they had an independent making the sing off decision, bit like Lloyd Webber did on his shows.
Strictly specifically say that its the performance in the dance off that is crucial. XF said that in the early series until the Cowell/Lucie affair. Now the judges have decided before the bottom 2 even sing, as with Jade giving an above average performance and the boy-band being horribly out of tune. Gary says - I'm looking forward to your next performance (probably just as much out of tune). But that's no different to judges saying to Rylan - looking forward to your next performance. I'm afraid Gary has lost any authority over the Rylan affair by his Jade decision.

She's right, she wasn't at her best on Saturday night but her voice was still taking time to heal and she was given a pretty bad song IMO, I would have preferred to see her singing 'Creep' by TLC or 'Black Heart' by Stooshe. However, on the sing-off, she thrashed the boyband who were out of tune and IMO showed quite bad attitudes as they gave off a defeatist vibe. If the judges (Gary) are going to bang on about it being a singing competition, then at least stick to their guns

I'm a huge Jade fan and it was sad to see her out of the competition as her voice is like a smooth chocolate truffle. Velvety & fabulous! But, her original performance wasn't as good as it could have been. She wiped the floor with District 3 and by rights should have stayed, unfortunately she was eliminated by savvy judges who knew Jade had more potential to make the final. This happens every year.

Could Jade have a musical career? Of course she can. I'd prefer it if she didn't bite the hand that feeds her as it makes her look bitter.

I love Jade and you are right but this weekend her performance wasn't very good and she deserved to be in the bottom 2 sadly. Her sing-off was wayyyyy better than Union Jokes and shouldn't have been voted off

I agree with this.
Also in regards to the two groups being compared to One Direction, not sure if that is a good thing or not. To be successful in the music industry, you have to be unique and not another XY group/singer copy.So not sure how far UnionJ or District 3 could survive. I think X Factor peepz know that groups are more successful then individuals, ie JLS, 1D, Little Mix. Further the groups get, happier Simon & Co are.

It was a good play by Nicole and Gary, they got rid of a good singer and they keep the boy bands splitting the tweenie vote!

Union J have the little teenager girls on Twitter in their palm of their hands. You really think the judges would get rid of them? Not happening.

Jade was just a victim of bullshit tactics, unfortunately.

With regards to Jade I would say the complete opposite, I would have got rid of Union J at the very first opportunity as they 'allegedly' have a large voting demo. behind them and may go all the way to the final 4 or so now which she wouldn't have.

Anyway it's the producers that control the way the judges vote, so agree with the poster above they wouldn't want to lose the young viewers. they can't trust them 4 !

If girls love Union J why are they not topping the vote?...

Jade won that sing-off but she was always going to be going home as she has been chucked under the bus most weeks.

Although I liked Jade and thought her sing off song was amazing, I doubt the judges think she's that much of a threat considering she's in the Bottom 2. I'd have seen Union J more of a threat to there acts.
