This is just a message from a very unbiased XF fan.

The hate you find on here is just pantomine. Unfortunately for you, you've stumbled into this years hate spot. Kitty Brucknel, Katie Waisel, Jedward and Racheal Hilton have all been there before and by this time next year the vultures will be picking at someone else.

I don't want to be deamed as one of those 'horrible DS forum members' that I'm sure the contestants are all aware of so I'm just letting you know, we're not all vile.

I'm not a fan of you or your music and I don't think that you should be in the live shows. However, ill express my views tastefully and even if I don't like you as an artist, I still respect you as a person and no-one deserves the attack that you're receiving on this site.

As a contestant, of course you put yourself up for public opinions to be thrown at you. However, the abuse on this site is unnesacary.

What if we're victims of mob mentality and subtle manipulations by the show? What if, like the anonymous, faceless crowd, we're guilty of condemning an innocent man? What if our own arrogance and ego fuels self belief in drawing mistaken conclusions? What if we are not the players... but the played?

totally agree with most of it , but I'm afraid you are hoping that there might be some intelligent people that your hoping to reach. Look below and there is your answer. But as for him not being on the live shows, why not he did not get picked by a judge he got picked by thousands of people from the general public. That's we're all the venom came from by them. Gary already knows of Chris popularity , were the other 3 did not.

I don't see why this is directed to just Chris, certain members of the digitalspy forums have directed their hate to all of the contestants at some point.

All he is doing is trying to make a name for himself and get something out of it. He isn't being genuine because the Xtra factor proved that with the "bat" comment segment. So fair play to him for trying to earn some money from it.

Christopher is to me a good karaoke singer and imo shouldn't be in the XF finals as he has zero charisma and is very dated in style. However he was the viewers choice wild card and they're still keeping him in so I guess he deserves to be there.

Do I think he has a future as a recording star - no. However I'm sure he'll get a few years work on the back of XF.

Chris does seem to be receiving a substantial amount of bile from his critics about him as a person, the way he looks and his singing.

But, like someone said, you put yourself in the public eye, you need to get used to dealing with it..

He wouldn't be the first and he definitely won't be the last.

Barry Manilow, to whom Chris is sometimes compared, though I can't see why, has survived, in spite of having substantial amounts of criticism thrown at him personally and his music, over the years..and I remember in a T.V. interview, he said he was sometimes hurt by the level of animosity directed at him.

However, he's still here and smiling all the way to the bank!

Actually, regarding the "smiling," bit, I don't think he has much choice in the matter!

I'm not exactly a massive fan, but I'm not a massive fan of any of them tbh.

That said, the nastiness is a bit OTT, and the constant jibes about him being close to his nan are really tedious. Wow, he loves his grandmother, burn him!

It is certainly not pantomine where i am concerned. Cannot stand the fake tosspot.
