Early upgrade on T-Mobile
Hello
I followed the instructions on the EE website for current Orange/T-Mobile customers and i logged into My T-Mobile. I noticed that in the upgrade section it had to boxes "Congratulations! You are eligible for an early upgrade" then "You can renew your plan on 04-Sep-2013" ----------------------- Clicking on "Find out about an Early upgrade" took me to a webpage, it says : 1. Pick the phone you want. 2. We'll give you a 25% discount on the monthly payments you have left. Plus, you can recycle your old phone through us to get some extra cash back.. 3. You'll get your new phone and start your new plan. ------------------ I thought customers could pay £99 and swap the phone to join EE? I am confused :s |

Just had a convo with tmobile and got put thru to another dept about upgrading to 4G.
I upgraded to 02/10/12 to a Galaxy S2 on the full monty £26 a month, the man i spoke to said i can up grade to EE with no charge and didnt have to pay off my contract with tmobile because it was under 6 months and ive only upgraded a few weeks ago. he said i just had to choose a price plan and a 4G phone (and pay for it if it was one thats not free) he then told me i get to keep my S2 ![]() ![]() Anyway i said id call back because im not sure this sounds right? anyone confirm?'You've got a contract with T-Mobile on 3G If you upgraded to a HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S3 or an iPhone 4S within the last 6 months, you can swap your existing phone for a 4G version, as long as you sign up to a new EE plan with a 24 month contract – you just need to pop in to your nearest store and pay a fee. If you don't have one of these eligible phones, you'll have to wait until you're eligible for an early upgrade.' http://help.ee.co.uk/system/selfserv...TICLE_ID=20012 |

The EE AD/offer is very mis leading, it states to swap to EE for just £99. Except its not just £99 because as we'll as paying £99 you give your handset back AND pay the cost of the handset on the new EE plan. So it's not just £99 ![]() The terms and conditions also don't mention any extra charges. |
