Will the UK eventually do the Teens/Young Adults thing?

So in X Factor USA it's The Teens, Young Adults, Over 25s and Groups. Obviously Teens and Young Adults instead of Boys and Girls.

Do you think this would work in the UK? Will they do it next year for the tenth series?

I don't know how I feel about it. Instantly I think I prefer it the way it is. But so much needs to be changed generally, maybe it could be one of them. I don't particularly like the obsession with teenagers though... I don't want them to have a category. Didn't they do away with under 16s previously?

I'm not sure of the relevance either - groups can be teens as well for example... yeah, on the whole, it's too age-centric (in favour of kids), and I don't want it!

They tried to ditch the "over 16 only" limit one year and got Lady Shiverz happy-slapping her way all over the X Factor's "family show" image for their trouble.

Probably for the best that the limit remains.

Yeah - overs are just "dead people walking" with zero chance of winning.

I think any chance of younger kids being allowed on X Factor died when that little girl had a breakdown/tantrum live on BGT.

Nah can't see them letting kids eviction after that kid on XF USA and the breakdown that girl on BGT had.
