Star Wars Episode 7 targeted for 2015 release
Disney also acquire Lucasfilm and ILM.

Ms. Kennedy will serve as executive producer on new Star Wars feature films, with George Lucas serving as creative consultant. Star Wars Episode 7 is targeted for release in 2015, with more feature films expected to continue the Star Wars saga and grow the franchise well into the future.

Although some Star Wars fans may not have been impressed with the second trilogy, George Lucas, at the time of the release of Star Wars 4 A New Hope always envisaged that there would be three trilogies.... {4,5,6}, followed by {1,2,3} and then {7,8,9}.

I never thought George would give anyone else control over any future live action star wars films apart from himself, so this is just a bit of a shock.

I think its Brilliant news
Starwars is always bigger than they made of the idea
Disney are not going to spend all this money just to churn out terrible films thats a cert.

It was the Same with Indiana Jones Brilliant films then stopped dead with a massive long delay and lead actor just gone past playing the Role when they finally made a new film.
