I'm pinning so many hopes on what Marc said about Pete's writing reflecting their 3 1/2 years. But the body language in the pictures...the fact Christian goes to the airport and Syed chases after him gives me a horrible feeling this is all about Syed still making it up to Christian ...again. Like it was over BF...when it shouldn't have been. Over Yasmin and the divorce..again for me when it shouldn't have been.

I hope instead this time to make up for those last times..ok Syed goes after Christian...but Christian getting to the airport decides not to catch the flight.

I would even put up with a corny airport fog coming down (they are on the tarmac:sleep and when it clears they see each other..Christian realises Syed has come after him...Syed realises Christian didn't go after all.

Heck Amira could turn up and hand them the baby because she's got chicken pox.

That would work for me. Anything less and I will be throwing things and hating it I fear.

Based on Syed's characterisation over the past few weeks, I'd be prepared to hate it

Feels a bit like Pete's making the best of a bad situation. And I trust he'll do his best and it couldn't have been better but, still. I worry how much damage has been done and how little time there is. And, of course, the eternal enemy: screentime.

Someone stop me before I let my imagination run away with me :sleep: But I'm envisioning Syed looking for Christian while Christian is looking for Syed, like they both came to the realisation that they need to be together at the same time. So then they eventually find each other and epic...handholding will take place. (See, I can be realistic too :sleep:)

Yeah, it wouldn't make sense for Christian to do the chasing. Syed cheated on him and lied about it. It would just make Christian look desperate if he was running after him and doing all the begging.

It has to be Syed. On this occasion, he's the one who needs to make amends, he needs to show Christian that he's serious about their marriage and that he loves him.
