I absolutely loved the scene with Roxy in the gym.
I think Syed did the right thing in phoning the police based on what Christian had told him. He just wants to protect him.

Just remember, no matter what mess happens in tomorrow's episode (and I am still convinced that Syed never slept with Danny), we can always escape to the happy (or angsty but true to character) land of fanfiction.
Was rewatching the first meeting between Syed and Christian last night, and for the first time, I noticed Zainab in the background so essentially, Chryed's first meeting happened in between Zainab and Masood.
There's definitely some sort of symbolism there - though I'm too tired to work out what! 
Hope all Chryedians get a good night's rest - we're going to need our strength for tomorrow's episode!

Their first scene was in the cafe and Lucy remarked on Christian's bruises. Syed then told Roxy about Christian being beaten up, and then Roxy went to the gym and confronted Christian about it.

Did anyone else notice that Syed told Christian he loved him twice tonight...it's odd he can't say it at the crucial point, unless he's upset Christian has taken what Danny has said as true when Syed knows it isn't....maybe a little optimistic

i guess because it's happened before, it makes it believable to Syed. It sounds like Syed was asking what happened all night and Christian needed to think of something that would be likely, very quickly

Yep, I suppose it will hurt if its the case that Syed didn't cheat that his partner thinking the worse of him. His parents already thinks the worse for him but christian as well...ouch that would be painful for him.

Yeah, it's very odd. I don't really see a realistic explanation tbh. I think there's got to be an element of Christian not trusting Syed, and believing Danny over him. Whatever it is, i think tomorrow's going to be really significant.

Me too. I take some comfort in that Christian already thinks what Danny says is true (whatever it was), which in EE terms might mean that it isn't (double twist). I'm making no sense, but nor does this whole twist thing. All I know from today is that Christian believes he has lost Syed and his new family but Syed is still saying he loves Christian, still demanding that there are no secrets anymore, he must have become an excellent liar in the last week (he's never been any good at it before
). But, like you, I am worried

I think there are two ways it could play out.
1. Syed feels guilty cos he did sleep with Danny and lied about it. He doesn't feel like he deserves Christian's love so finds it difficult to say ILU.
2. Syed's angry with Christian because he didn't sleep with Danny and can't believe that Christian believes he did, so he's too stubborn and proud to say ILU.

The spoilers say Syed's too proud to say 'I love you', right? And Christian laughed when Syed said it tonight. So I'm guessing he's being stubborn because Christian didn't believe him but believed Danny, and Syed hasn't done anything wrong (in this case) so why should he prove his love when Christian shouldn't have doubted it? /this from Syed's POV of course.
