bib - I was thinking more along the lines of, um, ...someone who has a rather unhealthy interest in young children (to put it politely) but yeah Potential Serial Killer is also possible. Either way, alarm bells should be ringing!!

What ever happeneed to what's best for Yasmin?”

Yeah, it didn't come across like she'd really given it much thought. It almost felt like she was making the demand and expected Syed to just accept and agree to it.

If he wanted them to be a family why didn't he come along with Amira so he could prove to Yasmin's dad he was a decent man?

Oh yh - plot contrivance.

As if.

EE really arent subtle or clever (except for the whole lying during the wedding thing but lets leave that can of worms ) there's so much pointing to split up/cant make it work that clearly the opposite will happen

He doesn't even have a name. You'd think she'd have mentioned a name. Or what he does for a living. Bizarre.

At least she didn't meet him on the internet.
Syed looked lovely tonight.

EE really don't care about what message they send out.

Yasmin has two father's who love and adore her.

Yet they are having Amira come back, engaged to a man who she hardly knows, who Yasmin has never met, demands Yasmin back, the daughter she hasn't been bothered about for over 6 months, and is taking Yasmin away from her home and fathers. So EE are just sending out the message that mother's what, have the right to just take away kids from their dads? That dad's don't get a say? That the mum who only cares about herself should have custody over two loving fathers?

I really hate EE.

For my own sanity I HAVE to believe they don't move to the States and only go for a holiday and then move to be near Yasmin. She has to have them in her life.

We don't know that. One lonely night in Rome she might have surfed ItaliansWhoAreWillingtoTakeOnASingleMotherWithHugeCreditCardDebt.Com.

He really did. I may or may not have missed significant portions of the dialogue in the scene with Zainab because he looked so gorgeous.

I guess Syed is going to do what he believes to be the right thing, the loving thing, being a good dad.
It's gone all Brechtian.
