Recording 'other sat programmes' How to do it?
I have a Panasonic TV with a Blu-ray recorder and have been receiving Freesat for some time. I've now found the 'other sat' channels, but I don't know how to record one if I need to do so.
I realise that the 'other sat' channel has to be showing at the time, and I also realise that this can't be pre-set with the timer. Anyone done this? |

Haven't got one yet but apparently you Can't Record Non-Freesat.
See post #7 onwards http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1750247 ![]() Anyway I have Panasonic Freesat TV and I'm pretty sure that will record "other channels" Sky News etc. But I haven't tried this yet as I haven't got a spare HHD to plug in to it. |

Thanks, IQ1, when I have tried to record 'other sat', the recording is actually a Freesat channel, so I imagine that it can't be done as per your first post.
We'll see if anyone else comes up with anything. |
