Could Rylan Win?
Having seen that Rylan is 4th on the most disliked (excluding Baloney) poll... I'm now wondering if it's actually a possibility.
The negative sentiment towards him appears to have all but vanished, and unlike Wagner and suchlike in the past, people seem to genuinely like Rylan across all age ranges, and he appears to be gathering momentum at exactly the right time. I know many say he can't sing, but from the snippits we've had of him doing serious stuff, I think there's a fairly solid voice there. He can sing in tune at the very least! So with Ella's popularity sliding, is there room for an outsider like Rylan to fight through the field to the final, and potentially even win it? The GBP loves an underdog! |

Can you imagine though if he did? his reaction it would be halarious would'nt it? I really like him, I know his singing is'nt amazing but his personality is just lovely and he's halarious without trying, he seems well liked with the other contestants too.

I think it's unlikely, but not impossible. If his fanbase continues to grow (which it has been doing since the start), he stands a chance of reaching the finale for sure.
His reactions would be unreal

No no no no no no no no PLEASE for the sake of humanity NO!
He's my second least favourite constestant ever (after Franki Cokeuphisnozza). So sick of his performances. I don't even enjoy them. I honestly don't think he'll win. It'll be Jahmene or Ella for sure. Hoping Jahmene! |

I can see him having some kind of 'look at me, what am I like?' career on ITV2. Having said that, I thought the same of Stacey Soloman who seemed naturally comedic and then disappeared.
There is a lengthy list of people that at the time you think might have some kind of post- X Factor TV career - Chico, Jedward, Wagner, Johnny Robinson, Two Shoes ... and they very rarely do. Jedward seem to be the exeption. |

Much as I would LOVE for that to happen, I can't see it. And tbh, I don't want him to win, I'd much rather he came second or third - the runners up always seem to do better than the actual winner.

I think they'll keep him in the competition till about 6th (so he qualifies for the live tour) then get rid of him so the serious singers can have a chance

it would be funny if he did as he lives at the top of my road, my daughter was out doing trick or treat tonight with my wife and saw him coming out of his mums, he had his photo taken with my daughter and the kids.

He's been in the bottom 2. Winners are never in the bottom two at all.
If my favourites (James/Kye) go out before him then it's Rylan I'll be voting for but no, I don't think he can win because he's been in the bottom. Then again, that could change depending on his more serious performance next week. |

Statistics show that Rylan is unlikely to win. None of the X Factor winners were ever in the bottom 2. Not to mention that Rylan was bottom 2 in week 1.

There is no way Rylan will win. He'll probably get a few more weeks and then the GBP will tire of him and start voting even more for the better singers that are left.
Post XF, he'll most likely get work doing pantomime, or as some novelty act in a holiday resort, he won't sell on the music side of things. |
