Steve said that he didn't hear the booing and only found out afterwards when some when asked him what he thought about it.

Nothing was mentioned about him fluffing any lines. Thats not to say they didn't happen. I'm still in an open mind.

What Steve said is quite plausible and if he fluffed the song, it may have been due more to the fact that it was recorded hardly any time after his winning the X Factor and he could have still been caught up in all the emotions of it all.

Steve is also on Lorraine kelly's show and there is a lovely little girl on the show, she can only be about 8yrs old and she is so sweet and she just wanted to meet Steve, bless her

No, Lorraine got muddled with the day and that in turn muddled poor Steve he had to think for a second after Lorraine got the day wrong, what day he did TOTP's. It was almost straight after winning that he did TOTP's I think, which was why he was still in a whirl at the time bless him

I have to agree with that, I never understand booing. I doubt some of the booer's could ever get up and do half of what those acts do. It really says more about them as a person than the acts.

I remember reading in my local paper about decent acts at the V festival in the summer, getting booed and just thought Why ??

....Yes I heard that, and I think I heard it yesterday as well. I thought the appearance at the gig was for the winner, if he had done it Friday, how did they know he would win I am totally confused now......can someone definitely confirm it was Sunday

Maybe they were the same BB eviction audience and they thought Steve had just been voted out.

He comes over to me as okay on these sorts of interviews so he is either not as fake as has been said or a very good actor and if he fails in the singing arena, he can turn his hand to acting. He would be good as a gangster in Eastenders I reckon. Better than Andy.

I reckon hes been told by Silly Simon to say he did not hear, but the media says he commented about it, and he got upset and then forgot the words and stopped and said sorry, he will be trying to get least damage possible as so far he has been givin a bit of a bashing not a good start. no one ever booed Mr Young or Gareth did they at any of these events and they both did them as Silly Simon seemed to thinks there was two winners that time. I think the proof will come soon enough sales of songs and albums we will all have to wait and see but he needs to stop fluffing the words and stop that silly grin and all. makes him look stupid at times. there is some songs you cant sing and and smile it dont work makes him look smarmy

It is not just the newspapers who said he was booed, several posters on sites WHO WHERE THERE! - and one news site had a photo and said he was virtually in tears - do you forget that?

Simon will have told him to forget it and say nothing, I am not knocking Steve, but this is a Big Wake Up Call for Him, Simon will not stand for it! - SC may have faults and I know it from experience, but he is 100% when he is in front of camera's
