There quite a few sore "winners" also and I just cannot understand it. Maybe they're insecure about Steve's future or they're just some sad little people who like arguing for the sake of it....

The ones who have reacted badly know who they are. This is life sometimes it's win sometimes it's lose. If you dwell on not winning then life stands still.

......well we over on G4 Appreciation are more than happy with the way things have turned out. It seems being the winner does not guarantee good press......poor Steve is receiving some pretty dreadful tabloid hounding at the moment. Think Simon Cowell needs to do a damage limitation pretty soon before it gets out of hand. Seems likely G4 will get the recording contract they deserve (and being in the position of being able to pick and choose the most suitable one). A good result all round.

Why do your posts still hold that tang of bitterness then Penny, that never seems to have quite gone away  Only time will tell how well any of the artists will do. I am quite sure though that Steve will do very well You can never take the fact away from Steve that Steve is the ***X Factor WINNER*** and rightly so. And yes I am doing a bit of gloating here and why not just a little

as for as long term success goes, i have a feeling G4 will be round for a lot longer than Steve, I know that is only my opinion, but I don't think 'winning' the competiton means a great deal. G4 are unique.
Just take a look at Fame Academy, David who??? Lemar is the one with the sucessful albums.
Personally neither Steve or G4 were my 1st choice, but talent wise, G4 beat Steve hands down anytime.

I'm pleased for you that you guys in the G4 Appreciation thread are happy with the result. We too in the Team Steve thread are happy and that we got what we wanted. A Steve win.

I'm sure that G4 (after the 3 month period), will have a recording contract. I think their rendition of ND was great and have listened to a download of it several times. If they were to release it, I'd buy it. One for them and 2 for Steve mind.

Seems a bit strange though to be happy that your favourites lost, doesn't it?

It probably depends how many you can fit through the eye of a needle.

It is a fact that Steve WON and congratulations to him

When it comes to losers it is not as clear cut. The people that we never saw on TV who entered were they losers? Is Robert Unwin (Chicken man) a loser? I loved his performance at the Final and he won a place on the final show.

I think it would be hard to justfy calling any of the last nine acts as losers. But if people insist on everyone being either a winner or a loser then I am delighted to be a losers Dad.

Take care all of you

It's about as true as the statement ' ALL Steve fans are enjoying gloating and putting G4 down.'

Neither is true, some people just feel the need to generalise.

....I am at a loss to understand why you think we are sore losers. Simply because we dare to question the validity of a statement made in the Sun today re voting percentages (which incidentally was NOT a press statement, nor has it appeared on the official X Factor site. ) We are delighted the boys seem certain to be in the enviable position of being able to pick and chose the right contract for them. Steve won - good luck to him. G4 have a long and successful career ahead of them.

well emzy, i'm getting frustrated you see i know there are some really good G4 fans like you, but then there are the ones who just like to stir it,..what do you think of the G4 fans who think what mocha said last night was good, personaly i think they are sick, and it makes you think that they are really bad loosers

I am glad that you too have a God. My Son pressed Simon for comments and I would appreciate your response to mine.

Thanks

lol, ok i dnt mean to laff but can u please put 'losers' instead of 'loosers' coz it does sound quite funny.

And im still not really clear on what Mocha did or didn't say last night as i was out (falling down stairs - but thats another topic altogether).

I don't see the need for anyone to be a sore loser (or looser), and the end of the day, its just a game.

I admit there are SOME G4 fans on here that do stir things etc, and i won't mention any names, but hopefully they know who they are, although a few of them have already gone. I don't agree with things like this and as you may have seen have fallen out with fellow Team G4 members over matters like this on a number of occasions

They were 2nd out of 50,000 - if that's "losing" I think most people who entered that competition would have taken it
