Does Ella have that many fans?

Everyone acknowledged she was a great singer(especially for her age and all that shabaz) Yet when voting was supposedly leaked for 1st few weeks she came 2nd and 3rd in most popular. As time has gone on her popularity has seemingly shrunk a bit also.

Now i see a lot of people who rate ella or think she sings great but they're not huge fans..they prefer someone else despite liking her. Then of course there's tons who don't like or rate her as high or at all.

Now she's been favorite from day 1 despite being less of a favorite now..but really does she have enough fans?

yes she does

I think there will be enough fans for her to be carried over to the grand final - but I'm not one of them though

Yeah im sure she'll make the final, but really from twitter, messageboards real life convo's. She is hardly anyone's favourite. Makes me think she probably doesn't have the fanbase to rival some of the others or ultimately win the competition.

Nope. She's quite unpopular on Twitter and other social media.

I actually think Ella will be bottom two as soon as next week. There's always a 'shock' in week 6 (Mischa B, Aiden Grimshaw, Jamie Archer etc)

Her social media stats are falling each week and many people may assume she's safe. I honestly don't think she will win this year.

Ridiculous post as if twitter proves anything.

District 3 and Union J seem to trend everyday on twitter but they are far from being popular being in the bottom 2 at such an early stage in the competition.

Loud fan bases are hardly ever the biggest social media doesn't mean much.

Most people appreciate her voice but there isn't a particular demographic she appeals to; Union J/District 3 have the teenagers, most people my age like James, Kye or Jamhene. Not quite sure who her fanbase would be?

I think people have to start realizing that not everyone who may vote has twitter or facebook

I think back to some contestants on other reality programmes who 'trended' and were very very popular on both Facebook and Twitter and who had the most followers so were considerd the winners and they didnt win

I think she has a lovely voice and sounds one of the best there. I was amazed when i heard her age, i thought she was 25-26 .

Very well said.

Christopher Maloney has had the lowest number of twitter followers since the live shows have started he even has less followers than all of the eliminated contestants, he is rumored to be topping the votes.

I can't recall a time we ever have had a winner that had OTT trending topics while the show wasn't on.

Well twitter, facebook are a lot more populated now than they were 4-5 years ago. And i mentioned real life convo's also.

You can only go by what's out there. Christopher twitter stuff is irrelevant because you know lots of old people will be voting for him. Likewise somewhat rebecca ferguson lets say would have had lots of scousers voting her whether that was represented on twitter or not.

I mean i clearly put voting was leaked and she wasn't 1st on either weeks when her hype was at it's strongest and she was rated and liked much more than she is now. So that suggests really when you factor in past years when Matt Cardle won every weeks voting...that perhaps she has an issue.

Matt Cardle btw had the most twitter fans after cher lloyd pretty much the whole way through.
and was rated online as having huge support everywhere. last year on twitter everyone wanted little mix to win more or less.
so i mean i don't think you people are being sensible.a

What's that got to do with anything?

I like Ella but would I pick up the phone to vote for her? I think that's the question we should be asking - the demographic she fits is not necessarily the one who vote/text! Would buy her album though, provided its well made!

as a relatively less irritating act, i should think she is a default favourite for the still undecided ...

Just because you aren't trending on Twitter every day doesn't mean you don't have fans.

There are a lot of people on Twitter backing her to win, and apart from last week she topped the poll every week!

I like Ella. She seems a well balanced mature girl and I do like her voice. If she's still there in the final I may vote for her as I don't like any of the other remaining acts now Jade has gone.

I think this weeks performance could either boost her votes or they'll take a knock.

I know she's young but she seems a bit dull to me. Plus, there is that british trait of being resentful or grudging to genuinely capable and talented people... y'know, slag off the "go getters" and cheer for the underdog or gallant loser thing. Anyway, both could be factors that mean she may not be as popular as her talent/voice would suggest she ought to be.

It's certainly 'slag off the go-getters' on here these days.

Ella has plenty of fans, most people I know luv Ella and want her to win. Imo, she is by far the best singer there, just because she sings ballds doesn't make her boring, she is a young girl, very mature for her age if you ask me.

I think it's harder for girls to do as good as boys cause girls are the main voters and girls tend to choose the best looking acts such as District3, Union J, James etc. Then we have the huge force called Liverpool behind Chris, Jahmene is getting the votes due to his soul voice, Kye gets votes from people who previously supported his band, Rylan gets votes on entertainment purposes and Lucy gets votes for her catchy songs which unfortunately leaves Ella behind, which is a shame since she is talented, I think people presume she's safe so they don't pick up the phone for her, there isn't a specific fan base for her if you get what I'm saying. I hope people see sense and start voting if they like her, imagine if she lost out to someone like Baloney omg that would be awful

Neither has lucy, chris etc etc. not really an indication of much..im sure she's been above the bottom 2-3 each week but if she's not in the top 2-3 then thats what the discussion is
