Tina O Brien outdanced Jarred Murillo in all of their routines....Ian must be so insluted that they sacked him for Jarred

Jared replaced Darren not Ian - there was no way Ian could have danced with Tina and yes it was a complete insult to Darren who was one of the best dancers / teachers.

Who knows why they dump pros. Matt Cutler was one of the loveliest teachers and professionally he was fantastic dancing with Aliona. They were so well matched. He had been successful enough in the competition. He won with Alesha and did well with Carol Smiley and Christine Blakely. Neither Carol or Christine were good enough to be winners but he took them quite far in the competition for their abilities. Similarly Ian Waite. He was so kind and patient and almost have won the trophy twice. He was useful to have to partner the taller celebs. Jerry springs to mind.

I don't know about a celeb outdancing their pro partner but in the Dirty Dancing group dance of series 5, Alesha and Kelly certainly outdanced some of the female pro's.

Agree. Ian, Matthew and Darren are amongst my favourites pros and will never understand the logic behind the decision however being replaced by Jared is worst than getting replaced by Artem and Robin who are still on the show

I dont want to have a downer on Erin, but I think one of the principal reasons shes remained in the show so long is that she's Anton's partner, and Anton (for reasons unbeknownst to me) is perceived as comedy gold by the BBC...

Absolutely. That series exposed Anton's Latin for the joke it is. There's no point in giving him a contestant with potential again for that reason alone.
