Erasure Are Back and on Top Form...
STEVE 03

Anyone remember Erasure from the 1980's and 1990's? Well they are returning with a new album called 'Nightbird' on 24th January 2005 along with a brand new single titled 'Breathe' on 3rd January 2005.
I have to say that after hearing both the new single and album, Erasure are back to the form they used to have back when they were at their peak 10 years ago.
The new album is full of pop ballads bringing back memories of their old albums such as The Innocents and Chorus to name a couple.
For anyone who doesn't know Erasure, they should re-consider because this new album features some of their best material in years and with a new tour promised for the early 2005, next year could be a big comeback for this great synth group.

I used to love them, particularly songs like 'a little respect', 'star' etc. Hope it works for them.

Well Nightbird, Erasure's new album is full of songs like A Little Respect. In my view Erasure went too serious in the mid to late 1990's and generally veered away from their pop image, but this album really is a return to form and after listening to the new album repeatadly, I am very impressed with it.
