The New Store
I'm really not impressed with the new store at all.
Firstly, I tried looking for the new Sleeping Dogs DLC which was released this week. I went to the 'New This Week' section, scrolled across a few pages to New Add Ons, and it still wasn't there. I had to manually search for it. I then tried manually searching for 'Assassins Creed' which I purchased last year.... I had results, but none were the first game. I had to then go to the PS3 Games section, View All, and then scroll down and hunt for it. It's a joke. I like to be able to view all the new content that's published on a Wednesday in one grid. Now, you can't even establish what's new this week - especially with the Sleeping Dogs DLC no where to be seen. Not happy with it all. The look is lovely, but the overall layout is terrible. Or is it just me? |

The US store has now launched after a couple of weeks delay - and it has a "new on PS3" section with all of the new content for the week. I am hoping SCEE follow suit shortly. |

Agree, There is really only 3 things on the new store I think need to be altered/included.
First been the way new content is listed, I think there should be a 'New this week' section like we had on the old store where all new content is listed in 1 place & it should only include things added over the last 7 days. I went on there last Thursday to see what had been added & couldn't figure out what was new & what wasn't because the newest stuff was kinda mixed in with some older stuff. I also think they need to include the date the content was added in the description, We had that on the old store & it made things easier when figuring out what was new & what wasn't. 2nd thing I'd like to see included is a way to select different view types. I hate the current grid/box view, I find it really hard to scroll through & read things in that view, I'd much rather have some sort of option to view the content in a list like you could on the old store. The other thing is the search function, Don't like the tumbler & would much rather have the old style on-screen keyboard, Or at least have USB keyboard support. The final thing is the download steps, They need to get rid of some of them, Especially for free content. Having to go through about 7 steps to download a free demo seems a bit stupid. Also think downloads should start automatically, I downloaded a demo last week & didn't realize you needed to click on the download icon, I thought things downloaded automatically like before. After a few weeks using the new store, There really my only complaints. Well apart from getting harassing messages from a sony fanboy over PSN (Who's been reported & blocked from my PSN) berating me for daring to raise any criticisms of the new store For saying what I said above on the SCEE Blog last week I was deemed a troll & a Microsoft fanboy by this person? |

I have to agree with and echo some of the comments, particularly the text-input method, which is horribly clunky.
With regard to ordering of content after a search, this is a problem the store has always had, it's never come up in anything like a logical order. |

It's like when supermarkets move things about, its so you have to go looking and they're hoping you see something else you might want.
Sony may not want everything new this week in one neat tidy corner, because the store is full of other things they want people to at the very least 'look at'. I think if were waiting for some return to order in the store we're gonna have a long wait, Sony want people to look thru all the shit to find that golden nugget, so get used to it people. Lol |

Hate it. Slow to load, cumbersome to find things, and updates still very slow - waiting on the Rocksmith DLC that the rest of the world has had for weeks already

I would like to see a lot of the changes mention above and also a return of the A-Z listings for games and DLC.

They really need to do something about the whole checkout system.
I just got a few free things off PSN+ & having to go through 7 different steps to download something is really starting to irritate me. Especially when you get greeted by an error at the end as I have several times now ![]() When things get changed/updated they should get easier & faster to use. This new store has done neither, All its managed to do for me is pi** me off every time I've been on it to the point where I don't want to go back on it. |

Tried to buy something from the new store, from credit in wallet, only for it to reject my password. Tried several times too.
Logged out of PSN, re-typed my password manually to log back in to PSN. Still didn't work on the store though ![]() In the end I had to log in on the website disabled "password at checkout" temporarily just to buy something Anyone else had password problems with this "new " store? |

The new store is poor IMO, preferred the old one, it was faster and easier to use.

There's an apparent bug which is preventing the installation of some games from psn.
Affects all my back catalogue. Sony are working on a fix according to their own support forum |

Won't let me edit but Sony have released a temporary fix. I say 'fix' they've just thought of a way around it.
Some games you've purchased are downloading as PS Vita/PSP downloads or saving in your HDD and not being playable. It's only affecting random games, there's no set amount though it started with the 'Welcome Back' games. To get your games you have to go to the Download List on your XMB and not through The Store until there's a fix |

Come on Sony, new stuff should be in our faces from release day, not hidden. That's how you'd actually make some money. |

To be fair, the new store layout appears to be highest bidder first, so expect to see COD and FIFA on the main screen for a very long time! Sadly, another genius plot from Sony London.

Im sick of this new store, Still got no idea whats new & whats old as there's still no 'new this week' section & I still struggle to find stuff im looking for.
So from now on I'll be going on the SCEE Blog to find out whats been added & only going on the store if I know there's something there I want! |
