If Lucy is eliminated due to illness...
Then Ella is the only female left. I guess the producers should have thought about this before they plotted Carolynne, Melanie and Jade's departure.
I don't think I'll tune in anymore - I only care about female vocalists, and to have one woman left standing with seven men is going to bore me to bits. |

They'll probably do a vote to bring someone back just for more money. Although the public clearly cant be trusted with selecting contestants
![]() I do agree though, besides Ella I only like James and Kye (as well as Lucy but tbh I'm not holding my breath for her to be back), so I'm not watching for one person I love and a couple I quitte like (especially when Kye's days are numbered!)

You mean before the public voted them out? They weren't anything special, none of them were what I'd call good. Carolynne was dead boring, Melanie did nothing but shout and Jade's voice was awfull. Blame the producers al you like but it was the public who didn't like them enough to vote.

Who cares if she's the only girl.
Didn't do Stacy a few years ago any problems. |

Whereas the shit boybands, the faker, guyliner and mr misery all set the world on fire?
To be honest, I can't really see the fuss about Ella. Seems like a nice girl, and she has a good voice, probably one of the best in the competition but she honestly bores me a little |

Didn't do Stacy a few years ago any problems. This! Also, last year, four of the final five acts were female (Little Mix, Amelia, Janet and Misha B). Yet no-one complained about there being too many females. To be honest, it would never have crossed my mind to complain about that (I wasn't keen on Amelia but liked the others). My only complaint with the current situation is that I'd have liked to have seen more of Carolynne and Melanie, but not because they were female, simply because I thought they were good performers with potential. |
