I don't know who casts kids in soap, but they never do a good job of it, do they?
Oh, I LOL'd so much. Terrible.

The world's weirdest voice. I'd do you an impression but it wouldn't work in words.

Well I did like that, it was just a bit bitty.
Thank God the scene was short, then

Yes. Exactly, Father Des. It's not that Brendan can't love, it's that he loves so deeply.
Did he really say that?

I need to see the Daisy scene again, first time I was creased in embarrassment.

Almost, he said that Brendan cares too much. I just thought that was bang on.

Yeah the Daisy bit was weird and pointless. And the money thing with Myra was weird. I could more see that if he'd ever hurt Myra but .
I think it was nothing more than seeing an opportunity to do some good and she just happened to be there.

Didnt quite work for me but I do see where its coming from. He does think if he does good he will feel good. A drawn out process of him working out he does deserve happiness and forgiveness and right now he needs to feel good about himself.

I know the Brendan posting money scene was after this, but is it possible the money Mittzee's sister was holding was that?
Nitsche, she had euros. Maybe Brendan steals them in place of her (inevitably) stealing Myras handout. For Dublin

Oh Hanni, it was godawful. The poor kid couldn't act at all.

I'm 99% certain that most of it was axed. Terrible.

Some of the other convos with Des were Ok, but giving Myra money was just a bit cringe.

Hmm agree, I really don't want Brendan to become a saint

I believe in god I'm just not sure he believes in me.

What does that even mean?

Nothing, that's what it means, cod wisdom and it sounds like something Emmett would tweet inbetween sexist jokes.
That was actually my favourite line

Basically Brendan feeling god has no faith in him and dealt him a bad deck of cards for a life.

I hope he doesn't choose celibacy.

Oh, he was gorgeous tonight really. The stuff about his Dad was interesting, and the stuff about him loving too much. And I did like Father Des.

But I defy anyone to watch Daisy and not laugh.

.
Ha! I'd love to see Ste's face in Dublin if they just got back together and he dropped 'Oh yeah i'm celibate now, you ok with that?Ste would try and seduce him

Probably wouldn't need to try that hard though

I think with the money thing he's just doing something outwardly good in the hopes it'll redeem him to others and maybe make himself feel better. But it won't.

I liked the Pa mention. It's so sad hearing Brendan say that he's cut from the same cloth, that he's like him. He's not.

Also, Brendan saying babba was lovely.
What Brendan said about that exactly i could not hear at all

Saying that I do think they are risking making him too nice in the end. Always been my biggest worry that they would overcompensate and I dont want that, I want my baddass Brendan back

But I am giving them the benefit of the doubt because to me Brendan is at a stage where hes trying things, working things out in his head.

I thought Daisy was cute! Then I think more or less all kids are cute. The episode was a bit odd though. Good, but odd. I liked it. I'm slightly terrified of Brendan the good samaritan though.. :/

*Ste passes out*

See I think it might make him feel a little better, he forgives himself then he can seek forgiveness. But it will take more than that tonight.

About his dad? He said something about when he was younger wishing his dad wouldn't wake up, and that he was evil. Then he told Father Des that they they were cut from the same cloth.

Couldn't they cast an older girl that could act?
