So Mitzeee doesn't know that Brendan was indirectly involved in Riley dying then? Because everyone else does, so it won't be kept quiet for long, no?

At the minute Cersei from GOTs would be a better sister to Brendan than Cheryl.

As would Lucretia Borgia.

Yeah at this point in time I really think Mitzeee would be a better sister to Brendan than Cheryl. Fair enough helping your friend but really but the whole happy and i'm so excited about planning it thing!!!
I can almost imagine Cheryl being shocked when Brendan reacts like his heart has just been ripped from his chest upon seeing the invitation. Like "Oh my God, Brendan! I had no idea you would be this upset!"

Just her face in those spoilers, she looks kind of surprised. Like she's not expecting him to react badly. She'll just casually forget Brendan loves Ste

Poor Bren

Ha oh dear she did laugh at parts but overall it wasn't what she expected. Haha! Well my friend said "what's that?" pointing at Sarah's Stendan birthday card I just muttered that a friend gave it to me

If Brendan had somehow helped in planning Malachy and Lynsey's wedding i'm sure we would have heard about that I know she herself said it 'Ste he's still in love with you' erm hello Cheryl then why are you stamping on his heart he already thinks he's lost Ste and she's helping in the stamping. She might as well conduct the service herselfalthough I don't think Cheryl's actually at the wedding?so maybe she decides to support Brendan I doubt it though she'll probably bring him back some cake if there's any left before the crash that isas you can tell I really hate Cheryl right now.

I think Cheryl actually will be quite shocked by Brendan's outburst too, I don't think she even realises how deep the feeling run, or that he would ever show how much he feels for Ste like that. Brendan rarely cries.

But yeah, what happened to 'He's still in love with you' Cheryl?

I suppose in her defence she has just seen him with Egg so... I think she's slightly torn as well because she loves Ste, however once she realises that Brendan really loves Ste *scene above* I want her fully on board or i won't be too happy

Right, I'm off to watch folks!

Yip! Night xx

See this is what I think too.

I do think it's horrible Cheryl is planning a Stug wedding when Brendan is still in love with Ste, but at the same time I don't think she knows how deep his feelings run because he's never really showed emotion over it to her or even told her directly how he feels about Ste. As far as I know him finding the invitation will be the first time he's actually showed emotion about Ste (an emotion that doesn't express itself as anger) to someone else other than Ste. I just think Cheryl will be shocked. I think to someone extent that Cheryl somewhat believes Brendan's love for Ste stems from a toxic place and that maybe Brendan doesn't love Ste to the same extent Doug does.

I think his reaction to finding the invitation will shock her though.

I know she said to Ste that Brendan still loves him but I don't think she thinks he loves him to the point where he'd ever be good enough for Ste. I don't think she thinks he'd show emotion over him or fight to be with him.

I don't know, I don't entirely think Cheryl's actions are impossible to believe to be honest. Insensitive, yes, but her way of thinking isn't entirely confusing to me. I may change my mind on this though depending on her reaction to Brendan's heartbreak at seeing the invitation

I just hope that once she see's his reaction she'll understand and won't do anything to encourage Ste. Like if she see's Brendan like that and then goes and convinces Ste to marry Doug cause he's better obviously logically she'd be right because Brendan is unsafe option but she doesn't need to do it especially not to her brother.

Brendan needs to cry in front of Ste cause that crying in later really had me

Saw tonight's, couldn't resist. Just very plot-devicey really, in setting up the double booking. I did get a sense of caring from Ste about Brendan leaving, but it is too early for him to think too much of it yet. And it wasn't like he was at all that enthusiastic about the wedding tonight. I really need to just always watch for myself and not go by the thread . It just seemed to me like he's made up his mind to marry Doug, which he has, and so he needs to be thinking about the planning and what he'd want for it either way . I'm sure it'll all be really on point again next week though.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! *chokes*

I still think it is, and nobody is telling me otherwise till spoilers come out
I'll be happy either way, though
don't laugh at me

But yeah, that's like what they should have done with Doug, I think. And best friends with Ste, the deli's accountant (no uniform), etc.
I was thinking too that instead of Ally and his pointlessness, they should have brought back Billy, Leah's bio-dad, for a 6 month story. Lots of great drama for the Barnes-Hays there would have been with that, and ASD might have chosen to stick around.

I'm waving the flag that it's likely a special right along with you.

I agree BH. Cheryl is very naive sometimes.

This might be the slap in the face she needs to realise how much Brendan really loves Ste. I hope she's nice to him or the bitch is dead to me

Reading back and I didn't realise people didn't like the episode I enjoyed it. Only because Mitzeee was great, McQueen's were brill and I did really enjoy the deli scene with Mitzeee.

And I don't think Ste was too fussed on Brendan. Weirdly it didn't affect me. I guess I'm just resigned to what's next

LOL at all your positive posts re: the Cheryl/Brendan scene next week If anything, she'll encourage Brendan to let Ste go. I'm not expecting anything good from that bitch

You know I agree with everything you say, Bonnie
And bringing Billy back would have been a brilliant idea. I'm still sad that ASD chose to leave because she was probably tired not to have a single storyline anymore.

Really?! It shocks me when people say they don't think Ste looked too fussed on Brendan It just seemed so much to me like he was but was just trying not to look worried because of Doug being there.

I thought he was trying to kind of change the topic so he didn't seem too concerned and fan the flames. Just the way he said it...there was something funny about his expression and the way he said it. Like he didn't want to talk about it really.

He didn't seem over the top worried, but just a little concerned.

Ah dear, not that it really matters to be honest. Even if he wasn't concerned I'm not bothered, these parts aren't really all that significant. It's the bigger picture that matters.

Holy shit, you're right He's got watery eyes!
Oh Brendo
If she actually does that I will have to declare her an enemy ship and will prepare to fire the canon at her. Failing that she will walk the plank Anyone who tries to sink this ship will suffer the wrath.

BH

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only person left who still likes Cheryl

Aw sorry just how I immediately read it. Yeah he seemed concerned, friendly concern. I honestly think Ste wants this wedding, I don't see any doubts perhaps we aren't supposed to.

I was more surprised that Doug didn't pull a face, but I guess he was scared after the wiring incident. Honestly I was more focused on Mitzeee's reaction to Brendan. I really need more Britzeee when he's back

BIB-whistles certain Dido song about shipsCheryl better make up for this by encouraging Ste to go and find Brendan in Dublin. If she gives him directions and maybe looks after the kids while he's gone she's forgiven I keep my hopes low though....
