So he does go from whatever happens at the hospital to still being with Doug? Y'know I'm not sure I'm going to be able to enjoy tearful hospital proclaimations knowing that it wont actually mean anything

Yeah I'm hoping/thinking something must happen at the hospital like Brendan goes there pours his heart out and Ste wakes up having heard. Because then a few weeks later Ste's jetting off to Brendan so I think besides the near death experience Ste will have something else to be thinking about which makes him finally decide.Something must happen with Brendan so he doubts his relationship with Doug.

I annoyingly have to go to bed but I'm really happy Ste gets hurt...

Don't worry MK, I think Ste won't make it to the honeymoon. The general speculation is that Ste goes to the airport with Doug but doesn't get on the plane. It's thought that he goes straight to Dublin and leaves Doug at the airport, because Ste is wearing the same outfit at the airport with Doug as he's wearing on the bridge in the Stendan Dublin scenes.

Don't worry about the honeymoon.


I really think nothing Doug could do or say would keep Brendan away if Ste was seriously hurt in hospital.

Doug might tell him to go and Brendan MIGHT go the first time out of respect for Ste and the fact the Doug is his husband, but I think he'd just keep coming back in secret and try to get past Doug.

Either that or he'd pretty much tower over Doug in a somewhat threatening manner and tell him to 'Move asoide, Douglas,' in which Doug visibly swallows and says 'You've got five minutes, Brendan.'

I just hope Brendan comes in secret because I want Doug to be out of the room.

I can proper see this now than Brendan will get to Ste (Hoping doug is injured too) so Brendan can sit there for as long as he wants holding Ste's hand and pouring his heart out to him completely unaware that he heard.

We know he's finally accepted it and is determined to go tell Ste so if he now see's Ste in this way and thinks he might lose him and will never get to say this stuff again then he'll just pour everything out.
