How long before SIM active?
Hiya
got a new phone today from the o2 shop & they gave me a micro sim for my new samsung & deactivated the one in my blackberry so I could keep the new number. How long does it take for the old one to switch off & the new one to come on? The phone still says emergency calls only thanks. |

I think they say anything up to 24 hours but I have had one active within 10 minutes another took just over an hour.

Takes 24 hours maximum. Basically when your blackberry one stops working, turn your S3 on and off and it should get signal with the new sim.
