Except he's a phoney, looks like Sloth but with a permanent pout and copies performances/interpretations from YouTube stars and takes praise for their originality....

Yeah...worthy winner...

Except he only did that AFTER the fact. He never said on stage at the time "Oh...thanks for the great comments, but that actually wasnt my original arrangement. I cant take credit for it."

No, he only did that once he got rumbled. So, yeah, if he any integrity (he wouldnt be on X-Factor in the first place...) he would have owned up on the night!

I can see were you're coming from but; there's different versions of just about every dance song on YouTube. James didn't say it was his own arrangement.

There'll be a stripped back version of Believe on there too. Should Ella be called out for that? Or Jahmene for a ballad version of Titanium?

Probably they did take influence from some YouTube performer, but probably not to the same extent of copying.

He literally sang it note-for-note and inflection-for-inflection.

Its the degree he took it to. It was in no way his own performance and he should have been honest in saying that. It was a cover of a interpreted cover.

Several days after.

Biggest fraud in X Factor history.

James did not say he wrote it.

If you're talking about ISAIKI; James credited Noah on his twitter and like he said, the video had over 13,000,000 hits before James even sang it.

Do you really want a contestant to say which artists version they're covering every time? Because that might take a while. What if someone sings Sway or something with two dozen or more covers?”

Agreed. James did the Marilyn Manson version which if my memory serves me correctly was in an advert as well and he never said it was his version.

Cher Lloyd did that when she said that she wrote the rap she performed at bootcamp which of course was a Swizz Beats rap, not hers.

Only the ringa-dinging bits were her own ad libs.

I think James is a sure thing for the final, but for his own sake, coming third or second would see him better in the long run. The curse of the male winner could befall him and he has talent for songwriting, there are examples on You Tube of his work.

It'll be either Jamene, Ella or one of the boybands which win I'd say.

But do you really think the average Saturday prime time viewer knows anything about MM or his versions of old songs? I'd certainly never heard his version before but then I don't think I've heard any of his songs except for his version of Tainted Love.

You'd NEVER seen the HEAVILY screened advert for the Grande Punto..?

I find that extremely hard to believe, and put it to you that you are being deliberately obfuscative to bolster your assertion.

Eh?

No, I haven't seen the advert as I watch everything on Sky+. can't remember the last advert I saw actually.

So, no I'm not lying so please don't accuse me of doing so just because I don't fit into your viewpoint.

I didnt say lying, I said obfuscative...theres a difference. But I still find it hard to believe as it was also used on the radio ad for the same car...

Saying I find that hard to believe is an accusation of lying in my opinion.

I repeat, I haven't heard it before - end of story.

I would actually say more people have heard of it to be honest; a lot of the people I know have heard of it.It's been in ads and films or telly too, so even if they don't know it by name they'll have heard of it.

Yep - good call!

To me James puts more oomph into his songs and seems to really work on trying to make the best out of singing stuff, which I'm pretty sure he most probably wouldn't sing ever again! To me Chris and Jahmene don't. They sing relatively safe stuff, you could see them doing again and again. They are though to me, more of what XF is about than James is.

There is nothing credible about this out of shape, pig-faced pudding with the crap voice and awkward stage presence. He's a charlatan.
