I'm guessing they may do a segment on Lucy not returning

I doubt they will, they have kept a dignified silence for once so i suspect a "lucy has had to pull out due to illness" at the start of the show and nothing else.

Possibly - I guess they'll have to mention it in some fashion

I doubt it. Probably just 'she's still to unwell and has left' or something.

Though, I really really hope they do something like a VT of her being unwell and the Dr saying she can't sing etc. because then I know she is genuinely ill. [you know what i'm getting at, i just don't think we're allowed to talk about it anymore, so i was trying not to mention it lol]

If there's one thing I'll never underestimate the production team's ability to do, it's to pad the show out.

Its having to suffer all of the purile padding within the show which adds to the tedium for many (its had its day anyway for many). Luckily I record and then view to get past all of the the crud, I watch just the acts and no more, all will be done in under 30 minutes, sorted.
