Based on the number of users, the amount of tweets is it possible to predict the bottom 2 this week. I think most people who watch X-Factor have twitter so may be it can.

Is this bad news for Kyle and Christopher? They have the fewest number of followers by a significant number.

Twitter isn't a great Representative of how the public vote.

The boybands trend everyday however the voting has proven their fans are just a loud minority.

If twitter was used in such a way, Union J Would win, Diana would've won series 5 and Cher would've won series 7

I think they have much more international followers than all others so we don't know how many are actually from UK.

Of course not.

Because a large proportion of the audience, and voters, aren't on there. Also the smallest number of people can quite often make the largest amount of noise.

What if each contestant have roughly the same percentage of voters who use twitter and who don't?

Then the number of twitter users would give some indication of popularity

The demographic of Twitter, the show, and people who vote are all completely different.

And vary per contestant.
