I cannot understand his rhumba was brilliant it is not the celebrity`s fault that the dance content is weak, so why continually blame them, he looked dejected for another week

Week after week they appear to offer none what so ever, I feel so sorry for Nicky because he's so nice. It's a shame.

I think Karen didn't give him many actual steps to dance because she knows his capabilities.

Sorry but being nice isn't enough. He's yet to dance well.

The fact that he is "nice" does,t mean he can dance.

No, but what's that got to do with anything, you said it was brilliant.

News for you, it wasn't.

They don't treat him as they do Victoria .. and he is better imo .. it's puzzling.

At least he doesn't forget the routine and crumble into a simpering heap like she does. Problem is the judges can't bring themselves to be too harsh 'cos of the Olympic halo.

I actually thought he did a good job with a difficult dance.

He had the intensity and the whole mood of the dance, some good moments and some good hip action.

Deserved more than a 4 from Craig

I thought he did well, In the rumba I often think the man doesn't seem to do much I mean on scd that is, I think there isn't much a man normally does and he surprised me in a good way. I was expecting it to be awful but to me he did a decent job, thought his scores may have been too high but where he ended up on the leaderboard was about right

I agree. He looked less cringeworthy this week because he did very little. His hands were still awful though.

I was really, really impressed with Nicky's dancing this week. His lines and posture were brilliant and you can tell they've put a lot of effort into improving his overall technique as that's what the judges have been criticizing them on, yet the judges failed to mention it. There wasn't as much hip movement as there should have been, but I think he did execute the dance to a high standard. 7's were about right, the 4 from Craig was way too harsh!

I do agree with Craig's comment about the lack of content however, and I do think a routine with little content shouldn't be beating those where the celeb is doing a lot, but I also don't think there should be such a big penalty when it's not under the celebs control.

I think that the Rumba wasn't great but there was improvement, and yes, the lack of recognisable steps is Karen's fault, so the comments directed at him on that were unfair, and he is nice, but he needs to nail a dance before he gets good comments, but I agree, needs to be more constructive.

Plus the fact that she looks like she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown the whole time. Can't beat a bit of emotional blackmail.

News for you I have been trained to dance since I was 8yrs of age and have been in the british finals ....... in the context of an entertainment show and not a true dance competition it was brilliant compared to nearly every other rhomba attempted throughout the whole inception of strictly with one or two exceptions ........... please try not to insult your superiors (in ballroom dance terms)!!!!!!

His rumba this evening actually had the least content out of all the dances. He just poses and holds Karen. I actually think he comes across as lovely....but.... He hasn't exactly come on leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. His dancing is VERY 'meh'. Sadly I can see him sailing through week on week with people voting who love all the 'boyband posing and strutting'.

It was bizarre at best. There is NO connection between him and Karen. He has absolutely no hip action (required for a rumba), and though his hand shaping was decent, that was about the only good thing about that rumba.

Karen was desperate, Nicky's not a natural dancer, and the judges were being strangely kind for not pointing out that Nicky needs to wake up his ideas and start putting in some effort and DANCE.

Karen Hardy said he danced beautifully. She used the word wow at one point.

There was absolutely no hip action. I was actually astonished. Something has gone majorly wrong with this pairing - like Ian said, he's young and fit but it looks like he's not even trying.
