What are the rules to the 'Number 1s' theme?

Does a song just have to have got to number one in any country in the entire world?

I think it's supposed to be UK only, except, Taylor Swift has never had a number 1 here... perhaps it could be elsewhere.

The theme is 'Number 1's' so any song that was number 1, doesn't matter which country because the Taylor Swift song only reached number 1 in Australia
