Louis has actually let the cat out the bag in previous series too with a similar comment.

Genuinely believe Jahmene & Ella & possibly Chris are just too far ahead of the rest who are in a big clump at the bottom.

The only guy we've got any evidence that they're very popular is Chris who the papers say has won at least two weeks.

I'll change my possibly Chris to Jahmene & Ella & Chris then

The bottom has been quite a mixed up mess, really believe anyone could be there apart from those 3 then.

Cowell worried he might win but is too dated to be a star.

Whoever is voting for Chris should make themselves known and be publicly humiliated.

They sandwiched James after Ella. They're sensing he is the chosen ones' competition and want to sabotage him.

The judges do not know what's happening voting wise. And that's a FACT

It has been revealed in previous series that the judges don't know anything about the voting until they are told after the final. One of the magazines had to write an apology a couple of years ago after writing an article which stated Simon knew the voting after it was proven he didn't.

I think Louis just thinks James deserves to be there and hopes he stays.

How was it proven he didn't know the voting?

He's the executive producer!

Who is 'they' and who is 'the chosen one'? Feel a bit out the loop on here sometimes.

I love James and for that reason have no problem with him leaving before the end. I'd worry if he actually won. Maloney needs to win this and disappear like the majority of the other winners have done.

Winning is really not the big deal one would think it is.

Ah sorry should have been clear

Ella is the chosen one, they would be the producers, the powers that be.

I just get a horrible feeling they'll sabtotage James to get their "shock"

Louis begs people's home towns to vote for them every week!

If James relied on that he'd get about 2 votes. Saltburn is a small town!

Ah I see. Well like I said James may benefit from leaving early as winners seem to come last in the long run. I like James and would miss him on the show but believe he has a future whatever

I'm hoping he can be the "Olly", the guy who doesn't win (SyCo aren't exactly great with male winners) but has a very good, strong career.

It was at the time he was also a judge and there was probably some sort of proof for them to publish an apology as it makes the magazine look silly that they published false facts. I'm sure it was heat and the year of one direction.
