Yep.. The only performance I've liked since his first audition .

Much much better without the so over the top vocal gymnastics!

I really would like to agree, I just cant.. The over the top ad libs, just sounded like shouting a lot and hitting as many notes as was physically possible for him to do

I said in the other thread that he needs greater discipline in his singing. A West End director wouldn't let him do all that. But if he gets his act together he could be great.

I like him and he's usually great but he was terrible tonight. He was flat all the way through.

I love Jahmene.

Sadly I am an old fart and don't know that song.

I thought he'd reduced his 'twiddling' a bit - he has such a lovely pure voice it is lovely to hear.

I normally love him but tonight he was awful. The vocals were all over the place, he seemed to get slightly lost half way through and decided to throw extra notes in. Hopefully it's just a bad week for him
