Even though Love Story wasn't number one here or the U.S. , it was a great song choice by Louis!!

They were very good but it makes me suspicious that they were so utterly dire in their sing-off and in week 1, but have delivered flawless vocals for every other performance. It's like listening to two different groups. Wonder what their secret is?

They sang it quite well, but it was an absurd song choice.

I think they could be the dark horses, certainly they'll be snapped up by a label and they deserve it, they were really good tonight. I can see them up there with JLS and One Direction.

I was really impressed with them tonight, they were definitely best of the week for me. The song was a great choice. Even my husband emerged from his curmudgeonly 'I hate the X-Factor' posturing when they were on, which is some achievement!

Hehe, yeah, consistency isn't their strong point I guess

They can sing but they won't be as big. It's a crowded market.
Also would Simon sign them? He already has 1D?...

One Direction record songs for American girls aged under 16. The traditional boybland fodder isn't something he currently has covered.

I think the performance of the night was Rylan singing 'Wires' on the Xtra Factor. (I know it isn't the main show but it's part of the X Factor and is on the same night!)

They realised that Jamie and Josh were by far the best singers and are now using them properly.

I quote both of you as evidence of blinkered fan hearing.

Both Jahmene and James have been brilliant in previous weeks. The last two weeks James has been a star and Jahmene has a great voice when he doesn't over sing.

But tonight, James' performance was a wreck and Jahmene's vocal was flat, his worst ever.

Ella and Union J delivered the best vocals by a mile tonight.
