Scouted Acts for XF
Just found this from BBC News, and no idea if anyone had read about it, but here is the link, just in case.

Yep, this year acts which already had representation were allowed to audition, and were asked to audition

![]() XF is about fresh new talent, and people already in the business aren't fresh. I get the impression that record companies are pushing or trying to push people who have already recorded something to see how viewers would feel about them, and say a scouted singer won the show, then the producers would/could only accept that calibre of singer/performer. Joe public wouldn't be needed to audition, and XFUK would cease to be what it used to be. I'm also getting the impression that XFUSA is going for big productions, and the singer/performer has to fit into them.
