Big Breath.... ok, I have a confession to make. I find this year's X Factor incredibly boring. The highlight of the series so far was 'fag ash breath' gate! But I'm loving the US X Factor.... insane talent, the unexpected sincerity and watchability of Demi and the rigid but compelling detachment of Britney.... if they'd only just dial down the over-production of the performances.

I actually think USXF is kind of boring, I couldn't even finish watching one episode of the auditions, I thought it would be much better, might check out the live shows if I have time.

I don't like the younger acts on x factor us and there a couple of acts that look like they could pull a gun on me at any given second
I expected the stage production to be better on the USA but was disappointed when i saw the same cheesyass dancing on there.
Demi is good, Britney is a dead beat, Simon Cowell is not aging well and it looks odd seeing him interact with Demi in the same way he did with Paula. She looks 20 he looks 60.
And that Kardashian girl's face disturbs me...I am shallow I know
It just all seems so amateur - at least the first series had singing talent. I can't remember hearing anyone stand out on this one...............edit, sorry i forgot i liked the gay dude who sang 'dance again'

It was good until the live shows, everything seemed to annoy me. The sound didn't seem right, it was too overproduced and the audience never shut up.

US XF could be car crash TV and its highly possible after Britney's performance this week.

The talent should be the focus, but right now I'm not sure it is? I wasn't as impressed with the first live show as expected to be and can only hope it warms up and Britney takes her meds and gets a better script.

I watched the judges houses this afternoon on ITV 2, and I was quite shocked.

They were all extremely good, my favourite being Lyric145 (or something like that )

Also, I think their attitudes are FAR better than the attitudes of some of our UK contestants e.g. Rylan and Lucy.

You can tell that they genuinely want to do well, progress and be successful in the contest, and have a lot of passion for what they're doing, whereas ours just want fame, their pictures taken and to have their 5 minute interviews on Daybreak and This Morning.

Also, looking at their judging panel, I'd say everyone but Scherzinger should leave next series.

The only thing I prefer about our X Factor is our host. I think O'Leary is better than Lopez and Kardasian, but then again I think Khloe Kardashian is new to presenting. Not sure on that one. But unless she improves, I say let Mario Lopez present on his own.

The US disastrous car crash live show is still better than any of the UK ones.

On the whole, I find the singing to be marginally better on the US x factor, but I have a few gripes about the format - why do they need two presenters sandwiching the contestants after they perform? It looks sort of weird. They should just keep Lopez and ditch Kardashian. The other thing is the over production and those annoying tarty call-girl dancers, get rid!
