Nothing is impossible.
BUT if she wins I shall laugh my ankle-warmers off!

Well, I say laugh but I meant laughter through tears of incomprehension and horror.

No chance of Vicky winning SCD.
According to the judge's scores she was in the bottom two but possibly the great British public will save her.
If she is in the dance off with Richard she will be saved this week but next week she may be in trouble.

I liked Victoria as a cycle champion she was brilliant and brought the velodrome to life, fantastic at what she does. But as she has become more into the public eye her low self esteem has become more well known about as well as other personal issues with her personality, overcoming all this just heightens her cycling achievements but as far as strictly goes i think the judges are holding back their comments because of her self confidence issues, its as if they know telling it as it is would see her just crumble so i think they are being reserved with their comments. Having said that i like Victoria and want her to do well but she is going to have to up her game quite a bit.

I think her fragility is causing the panel to treat her with kid gloves, I'm longing for her to be in the bottom two so that she has to prove her worth or do one!

I doubt whether she has ever thought she has a chance of winning but just wants to do as well as she can and learn to dance. She has said she has never danced before unlike some of the other competitors with stage or stage school experience.

Unlikely unless her dancing improves I think she'll go out in the next couple of weeks

As much as I like her, it'll be a big ask to reach the final. Quarter-finals/semis maybe.

She cant be that fragile....she fought off massive opposition, and worked her body to its limits to win a gold medal....in cycling.... And she was being marked as a cyclist, so this kind of competition cant be totally strange to her?

she is a hopeless dancer and im finding the poor me act ...irritating...and wish the judges would mark her fairly...

in the dance last night she was just a puppet, with Brendan moving her arms in time....

I can't see her making it to the final. I think the judges are marking her cycling ability lol.

JOHN SERGEANT MEMORIAL PANIC!

Don't worry OP the Final 3 will be the boring obvious Final 3, just like it has been for the last two series.

Do you mean the high marks that placed her next to bottom in the scoring?confused:
As far as I can tell the judges marked her according to her position on the board , which surely means that they thought she was one of the two worst dancers from last night so not really in any sense of the word overmarked, imo Colin Nicky and Fern were worse than Victoria so if anything she was slightly under marked according to final positions.
How can people keep complaining that she was overmarked when the judges scoring placed her in the bottom two? What must they do scoring wise to to show they are not favouring her?

I hope she does, this place will have a meltdown (with penelope leading the righteous indignation brigade, despite her protestations).

Unless we get a shock bottom two at a later stage.

If Michael can nail the latin as he has the ballroom who knows what may happen

She and Louis have a built in advantage as far as voting is concerned. Some of the contestants already have a huge following and their fans will vote for them irrespective of their dancing skills.

This isn't important anyway. It is not a dancing competition, it's a hugely popular family entertainment programme.

It seems strange how the leaderboard looks about right every week despite so sporadic marks.

I usually go by Craigs marks but even he is veering off this series.

Do you think the Westlife fans will keep Nicky in ?

I thought she was truly awful last night. Hard to believe that theyd even been practicing, perhaps its just nerves but she looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. I was watching through my fingers - it was embarrassing, she looked embarrassed. However the marks werent great either.

Of course Victoria could win. It's every bit as likely as the pope applauding sodomy, bears using portaloos or me making snowmen with Lucifer.

Careful might be a good idea to have a break sometimes. Breakfast is a good time for quiet reflection and day planning.

Agree with all of that. Not sure why she has such low general self esteem. Seems a bit weird when she was top of her sport, should have got some general self confidence from that achievement.
