Is it possible Victoria could win?

Unless she makes a huge improvement, no, I don't think it is possible she could win.

I don't think her tears are a "poor me" act, I think it is just the way she is. She admits herself that she cries alot (pre-olympics documentary), and she plainly has a real inner steel to have achieved what she has. I believe she deals with her frustrations by letting it all out...and for her letting it all out is to cry...for me it would bethrowing something!

If she gets to the last week she could win. Bruce is always saying she has audience support. Those who have been say she's very popular. I know the audience is a microcosm but I think she is getting lots of votes.

She won't win but I can see her getting to the semi. She'll be squeezed out in the DO there if it's still in play.

He'll have to get a jog on, he's only got three ballroom dances left, and he's already been in the bottom 2 once for his last crap Latin.

I think Denise vs Kimberley could theoretically happen, maybe, at some point, but I'd say Denise looks too popular at the moment for that to happen.

I'm far more concerned about a possible Nicky victory than I am a Victoria one.

Sure, that could happen.

For all we know Victoria and Nicky could be topping the audience votes by a large amount (which might mean that at least one of them gets into the final).

Mind you, it would probably be the death of Strictly (for a sane part of the audience, the producers would love to have 2 Olympians in the final, obviously).

I'd prefer Nicky

she is a hopeless dancer and im finding the poor me act ...irritating...and wish the judges would mark her fairly...

in the dance last night she was just a puppet, with Brendan moving her arms in time....”

That is a very good description, particularly as it was a Samba. I still think she may go a long way.

This isn't important anyway. It is not a dancing competition, it's a hugely popular family entertainment programme.”

You are right. I think it will be rather entertaining if she does win but could cause problems for the tour as Brendan doesn't do it. If Fern isn't signed up, perhaps she could work with Artem?

My concern is less about preference and more about possibility (i.e. I think Nicky is a remote possibility, Victoria... not so much ).

The public seem to agree and, even if they don't, the judges aren't going to be brave enough to send her out in a dance off.

So, ...could she win?”

Brendan doesn't mollycoddle her at all.

I actually like his partnership this year - as I did when he was with Jo Wood.

They bring out the best in him imo

I think you are right - and wrong! He certainly is a real gentleman with both ladies and comes across as so caring. But, I think I preferred passionate Brendan who cared only about the dancing. I am still totally in love with him, but the new family friendly version is just a little bit less appealling.

As you know it's Craig's marks for Louis that is the sticking point .. that he thought Victoria who looked like she'd stumbled into a club and was being dragged around by the club pro looked as good as Louis who did everything competently.

I think we've definitely got a Kimberley vs Denise dance-off coming at some point and Kimberley will go I wouldn't mind betting that Victoria is still in at that point which is confusing because she's neither a good dancer or entertaining.

I felt sorry for her, she looked very self conscious and embarrassed by the whole thing. It was a tacky routine, in my opinion. Didn't suit her at all.
The judges bending over backwards to be kind doesn't help, she's not stupid and knows when a performance was poor. She's putting on a brave front, but I think secretly she won't be sorry to leave.

A Victoria sponge would have more chance of winning than La Pendleton!

How could Victoria win? It's not possible. She isn't an experienced or accomplished dancer. Learning dance doesn't seem to come easily to her and I can't see her making enough of an improvement in the time remaining to turn into a Kelly Brook.

No, she won't win. I can see her coming about fifth or sixth because I'd be very surprised if the final four are not Louis, Denise, Kimberly and Dani.

To be voted off by the judges she has to be bottom 2 after the public vote is added PLUS against a weaker dancer.

They simply couldn't keep her in if up against Denise or Louis or Kimble or Dani. Well, I wouldn't have thought so. BUT I bet they'd keep her in over anyone else. And they MAY keep her in even against one of the above-mentioned.

I am not a fan. But I wouldn't be surprised if she makes the final 3 because she's very popular.

She won't win, but she could go far. Gavin Henson and Kenny Logan came 5th, and aside from a couple of decent dances, they were both terrible. But obviously they were popular with the voters. Ann Widdecombe came 6th, and god knows how far John Sargeant would have gone if he hadn't quit.

Sometimes good dancers don't click with the public, and bad dancers do. Victoria has the potential to be good, she just needs to relax a bit. But if you look at Chris Hollins or Darren Gough, neither were the best in their respective years. Both were good, but not compared to others. Popularity plays a part. Gabby Logan was a good dancer but her arrogance was so off putting!

I shall get sniped at for laughing but that is one funny comment!

However, I think she can get through. The judges are totally enamoured with her.

LOL they're not going to keep her in over DENISE let's not go mental.

They'd get rid of her over all of the above, Lisa, and Michael if he was doing a ballroom. The others could go either way, depending on which Victoria turns up for the dance-off, except probably Fern, who I think would be done for whatever happened.

(JMO obviously)

No. Would like her to become a good dancer and win but, let's face it, she is not a natural dancer and unlikely to become one in three months. Maybe last six at best. She's obviously enjoying it and I wouldn't begrudge her another three or four weeks in the show.

no i don't think there's any chance she can win, but i might just go about pretending i think she should since it seems to impact so heavily on the blood pressure of some posters....

The judges do treat her with kid gloves, if anyone else ever danced as badly as she often does they'd (quite rightly) get a bollocking for it. I don't understand why they are being so soft with her?
