Dani is improving every week. Her jive was terrific. She could well win that glitterball ahead of her more fancied rivals.

She was my fave yesterday, I thought her jive was incredible! However, I don't think she'll win it, even though she's really good, people tend to forget about her. Would love to see her in the top 3 though.

Gosh - a Dani thread

Her and VIncent appear to be getting overlooked by the forum and working their way through each week quietly

I'll rather see them overlooked in this forum than to read negative comments.

I love them. They are my new Chelsee and Pasha pair. Not quite as engaging as Chelsee and Pasha (yet), but Vincent and Dani are definitely getting along famously and their hard work is begining to pay off.

Normally I fall asleep watching them do foxtrot, but their Hollywood foxtrot was very slow (difficult way of dancing foxtrot, normally celebrities do a mid-tempo one, which also meant it's oftentimes forgettable and dull), but very romantic and moving.

Also, I still think she should sort her upper body lines out soon. Chelsee made the most exquisite lines very naturally, and she was short. In comparision, Dani just appeared to place them there, and there, and there. Okay for a jive (Austin Healey's jive was the same, brilliant but finishing upper body lines not so good), but will be terrible when she attempts ballroom dances again...

Far better then Lisa's jive, yet look at all the excitement her jive generated on the forum.

I think it's a tall order just to get them to the final. But I'm doing my bit each week!

Apart from their Waltz, I've enjoyed every dance they've done. And they're improving. Cracking Jive last night.

Their my favourite pair this series. I love their enthusiasm when they are dancing.

They are my favourites at the moment. I haven't voted yet, but I would have spat my dummy out yesterday if Darcey had given them another 6.

They are my favourites too.

I was only thinking earlier that people are overlooking Dani.

I think they are overlooked because they do come across as boring and if you compare her to chelsey they both are good in latin but are heavy looking and fall off their feet in the ballroom

Possibly. I just find myself thinking I wish she was 2 or 3 inches taller though. That's harsh I know, sorry. But she was my fave last night

I'm loving their dances, and love them as a couple

I am, and I cant explain why

I keep forgetting Kimberley is in the show as well, despite the fact that they are both doing good routines

I hope she gets to at least the top 4. I do forget about her sometimes but after the jive last night, I'm not sure that will be happening again

Agreed, I think she has an excellent chance of winning. She's really fun to watch and I would love to see Vincent win too.

I loved their jive yesterday - their best dance so far I thought. She is definitely someone who's improving each week, so she might slide into the final 3 afterall.

They obviously don't feature much here because they're not controversial enough. The field of female contenders is crowded though. I'm predicting fourth place.

She's definitely my favourite this year and it's the first time I've ever warmed to Vincent. William Hill obviously have no faith in her as her current odds are 20-1.
I hope she quietly creeps into the final, I'm thinking that the longer she stays in, the more people will warm to her.

I've always been a fan of Vincent and think it's a great pairing of him with Dani. I did'nt know her before strictly and their jive on saturday night was great.

The fact that she danced up a storm wearing that unflattering ‘Velma from Scooby Doo’ look was a bit a a revelation. I think she’s flying nicely just under the radar at the mo. Improving every week so one to watch.

Their partnership reminds me of series 6 but with added personality. Hope this makes the difference later in the run when they must engage with the voter to win.

She's my favourite celebrity this year.

Dani's doing a great job and Vincent's keeping her up to the mark with some really quite tough routines. I loved the jive and I'm glad that they got a bit more recognition from the producers (going last) and on the leaderboard this week.

I think Dani will go top 3 alongside Denise and Louis. The only other serious contenders for the slot are Kimberley - who I think peaked with that salsa, which was completely tailored to make the most of her girl-band background - and Lisa, and I don't think either of them will cope with their remaining dances anything like as well as Dani.

Hurrah for the power of petite!

I have said from the first week they could be this year's dark horses...whilst everyone is going on about Louis, Denise and Kimberly. I love Dani and Vincent's partnership.
