I would have started a "Bring Alesha Back" campaign

(and I couldn't stand her!)


It didn't resemble an actual Salsa to me and I recall Claire King & Brendan being panned for doing a similarly "raunchy" looking routine a few years back. Maybe the judges are looking for something different things these days or the Salsa has evolved since 2006 or it's acceptable for a girl Kimberley's age to perform a raunchy style Salsa but not someone older. Whatever the state of play, I prefer the more traditonal kind. Pasha's choices of music so far this series have been terrible.

She hasn't got what Craig calls 'long bones' and she doesn't come across as lovable and pleasant as Chris (only non-long bone winner iirc).

Condsidering the fact she's been one of the biggest stars of kids TV for the past 10 years you'd have thought she'd have a significant fanbase.

but kids can't vote. And her Tracy Beaker character wasn't very lovable - very shouty, stroppy and sulky iirc.

Kids do vote (with the permission of an adult) and plenty of people who have watched her in the past aren't kids anymore (like her).

She's popular with my two neices. Tracy Beaker is clearly that unpopular its only clocked up 150 shows and 10 years!

In week one I picked out Dani as one of two contestants that could actually dance - the other being Denise, although with as trained as she already is I don't see her getting better, whereas I think Dani could improve a lot. I've looked forward to Dani's dances each week. However, I don't think she's being worked hard enough. Vincent needs to really drill her a lot more. She's still making too many errors for my liking. But I think she has the best potential. All she needs is the right push.

I voted for them on Saturday! Loved that Jive and I think they have a great partnership.

I don't think they'll win but I'd love to see them get to the final.

The top three (James and Denise, Flavia and Louis and Pasha and Kimberley) will be hard to dislodge because they still haven't peaked.

I would place Vincent and Dani behind this group but ahead of the rest most of whom can't really dance but some of whom are good at ballroom, or selling a performance.
