It sounds far fetched , but how about all the 6's ex partners teaming up to get revenge on the gang

Only problem is , fairly similiar to what Seinfeld did to finish

Revenge for what exactly?

I don't think you thought this through.

How about they all get blown up in episode 1 and save the world from the rest of the preteniously badly acted crap the whole series was.

It's a sitcom, not Homeland. The acting doesn't need to be good, just needs a vague sense of comic timing...

If they did an up to date follow on, it would centre around Ross' trial for murdering Rachel in a fit of jealous rage.

They could then use flashbacks to tell the history of each character in the gap sinc the original show finished.

so you mean, Emily, Richard, Janice, & Gunther

not sure who would be the ex of Joey & Pheobe, who would want to cause trouble.

Five of the exes would gather. There would then be a looping of audience laughter, as we see a comically long queue of women who've slept with Joey enter the room.

Probably David for Pheobe

yes, you could.

So far, we have

Emily, Richard, Janice, David & Gunther

could you have Ursula for Joey, might be amusing to have Lisa Kudrow planning a role our little idea.

You could also have

Erika Ford

Erika Ford (Brooke Shields) — a mentally ill stalker who thinks that Joey is actually Dr. Drake Ramoray, the character he plays on Days of our Lives.[e 18] Despite this, Joey goes on a date with her. She dumps him when she suspects "Drake" is cheating on her with another woman (actually another character in the soap opera). He tries to explain that "It's a TV show!" and "I'm not Drake!", but she doesn't understand, so Ross tells her Joey's "Hans Ramoray", Drake's "evil twin"—and Joey tells her to go to Salem to find the "real" Drake Ramoray.

Or Kathy , who cheated on Joey with Chandler

What about Janine (Elle McPherson), especially as her character already has grief with Chandler and Monica.

I think it would have been much, much better if they'd all fallen into a large vat of custard and drowned, myself.

Regards

has hating Friends suddenly become popular? It was a good show but everyone now seems to hate it, is it just a case of constant repeats pissing people off, or has everyone suddenly come out of the woodwork now?

Those voices were always around and were probably higher in number during the show's really popular phase. It's just that since the show has been over for eight years, the number of fans who spend their time commenting how much they like the show has dwindled - maybe they moved on with their lives.

The people who vehemently dislike the show, however, are still seemingly tormented by the past popularity of Friends. We can only hope they will find some comfort one day.

Well, as they were both jolly nice fellows, not likely.

However, both Richard and David decared their love for Monica and Phoebe respectively and both were spurned in the end for Chandler and Mike.

I always thought they would have made a good couple. At least for a little while.

I read somewhere that Rachel/Chandler was trialled before Monica/Chandler started but the audience was quite lukewarm to it. Must say I can't see it working either.
