after tonight even my wife said enough of this crap. I suspect next week will see even less people tuning in to the pantomine. I knew as soon as the bottom 2 was annouced, rylan was safe for another week. its becoming laughable now and not only do I expect viewers to drop steadily up to the final but I'm sure barlow will never return even if series 10 happens.

fair?

No, I think ratings until the Semi final will be 8m-8.5m. The Semi Finals i think will get 9m and the final i think 10m with a peek of 11.5m I think the only reason it fell below 8m last night was because of fireworks there were certainly loads last night were i live

Indeed.

X Factor certainly deserves to continue losing viewers..

The show skews older than The X Factor. The real question is why hasn't the The X Factor shown a decline such as this in previous years on Bonfire weekend yet has this year.

I only watched half of the performances last night. I forgot to turn it on tonight, losing interest with every week to be honest.

I love the excuses offered up to explain the loss of viewers week on week. i wonder what it will be next week. its like listening to a politician explaining away the kicking their party received at the polls - people stayed at home because of the weather blah blah

I don't think i'll bother watching next week tbh. I'll just watch Ella's performance on youtube next week.

Yeah, the performances are getting increasingly worse as well. Really no standout moments this season at all.

If X Factor is lower next week i agree there will be no excuses. But i'm thinking it will be higher because on fireworks weekend X Factor aways dips a bit then goes a bit higher.

I regretted sitting through it last night so very much doubt i'll bother again. Might look on here to see if there's anything worth me watching on catch up. Strictly is way more entertaining & the judges give proper critique & vote purely on talent.

Utter farce of a show now. I couldn't be bothered watching on Saturday and I only caught the end of tonights farce. This is no singing competition. It is a circus!
I dont blame viewers for switching off. It has become a joke of a show.

It's actually fun to watch unlike the X Factor.

Yet last year, the show actually fell on on Bonfire night and the ratings were not this badly affected

I don't turn the sky box on now until I've got enough "in the buffer" to fast forward through at the very least all the adverts and some of the filler.
