Daniel Craig's films are not true Bond films.

I'd like them to try a more conventional Bond villain in the next film. Silva just wanted revenge on M, Le Chiffre was just trying to make his money back and the less said about the QoS villain the better...
Obviously a villain like Blofeld wouldn't really work in the Craig era - but my hope is that the next Big Bad will be more of a threat to the world. |

I'd like Bond to deal with a real threat. So far, in Craig's films (which I love, btw) the scenarios have been;
1. Try and bring in a terrorist financier for questioning; 2. Try and bring in a more important criminal for questioning, whilst undermining his plot to become a water board monopoly in Bolivia; 3. Recover a list of undercover agents, whilst protecting M from an assassin. We need Bond to have a situation where real lives are at risk if he doesn't save the day. Rather than just have him trying to gain intel on terrorist organisations, why not have him deal with an actual terrorist plot? We need to up the threat level in the next film. Bond needs a villain who is trying to cause real, immediate harm and if Bond fails, a lot of people will die. |

Gunbarrel Humour Realistic and smart villain David Arnold Moneypenny/some Q BUT still retain the darker gritty feel of the Craig films - I dont want a return to camp please. |

I think you make an excellent point, quite agree, they need to raise the stakes next time on more seismic level but keep it grounded |

Hellbore makes an excellent point, that could be very interesting if Bond dealt with a real terrifying threat,

I too would like to see Bond in real life scenarios that reflect current, topical political threats etc.
Send him to Syria or Korea. Maybe have him deep undercover investigating China's latest weaponary developments. This would be great - especially if he did it in a gondola/hovercraft type thing. |

I liked Skyfall, if they keep that tone, gadgets, guns, explosions and humour, some of which were missing from CR,QoS I'd be happy

CR definitely had some humour, I actually thought it was very funny while maintaining a darker, serious tone, Craig's delivery is hilarious

For me its not whether it has more gadgets or more humour or is more gritty etc. these are just aspects which can be good or bad .
so gadgets for instance - Aston Martin - great , invisible car - sh1t . I would like to see Craig's Bond enjoy himself more , I mean he gets to kill bad guys ,drive fast cars blow things up and shag beautiful girls , whats he being so grumpy for !! |

Up the scale a bit more. Have a genuine global threat like Bond trying to stop a terrorist attack

Felix Leiter. Missed him in Skyfall.
Would like to see Daniel struggling more with the age thing, and struggling with the aftermath of what happened at the end of Skyfall. |
