I personally think Danielle Harold and Jamie Borthwick-but not as a onscreen couple.Shona to my mind plays a character too damaged to last that long.Her popularity peak long gone.
Tony Discipline doesnt play a character with longevity I suspect (Tyler)
David Witts as Joey really is mainly instrumental in the Derek story and I dont buy his acting or cousin love storyline

Hetti Bywater(Lucy)
I feel is too limited an actress although I think another recast Lucy is a distinct possibility.
Jacqueline Jossa-plays a character who is very unlikeable and only a personality transplant would make Lauren likeable.I also dont think the actress is all that.I would have thought as a Branning shed be offered a 2 year contract but she was only offered a 1 year contract-perhaps the bosses dont see her as the future of the show afterall?

Ricky Norwood (Fatboy) As an outside bet Id say he could still be there in 3 years but the writing of Fatboy would have to improve a lot.
Rachel Bright (poppy) Its not impossible shell still be there in 3 years but the writing for Poppy is very uninspiring and lacks imagination or purpose.
Danielle Harold (lola) Increasingly excelling and shining as an actress and if she continues to progress I think they will want to keep her for a longtime especially as shes part of the Mitchell clan.
Jamie Borthwick (Jay) Best young actor in the show and is a show stalwart in the making
Himesh Patel (Tamwar) way to dull and one dimensional but the actor i suspect from previous interviews would be happy to stay as long as theyll let him so if the show has a bold EP I dont think he will last another 3 years.
Lorna Fitzgerald (Abi) Im unsure on her.I think were beginning to see hints of the actresses limitations and i think she could be recast.
Jasmyn Banks (Alice) Plays a limited character and i think the actress is too ambitious to stay very long what with her talk of Hollywood etc.

Toughie. Some of these actors will want to spread their wings and test themselves outside of soapland, so it doesn't come down to the best actors or characters.

I'd say Lucy will still be there because Adam will never leave and she's part of a depleted family...they can't afford to lose any more.

Poppy because she's only just joined and there's a lot they can do with her.

Fats..a nice lad who looks out for the soon to be returning Dot. A balance to all our nasty and dysfunctional youngsters.

Lola..a great addition to the Mitchell family and the only youngster they have at present.

The rest...who knows.

Shona McGarty(Whitney) - No, the actress has come to the end of her time.Her boyfriends left the show, she has a poor discilpinary record and only has a limited number of the cast she interacts well with

Jasmyn Banks (Alice) - No, again I think the actress is limited with who she can work well with in the Square, especially when Derek goes. After Whitney, she'll be next to go


Ricky Norwood(Fatboy) - I was on the fence with him. Looking at all the young cast, I realised how poorly theyre written and theres a distinct lack of potential for a lot of them. Maybe due to the fact, a lot of them don't come from strong family units and really are only seen within their peer group, which lack hard hitting storylines.



Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren) - Possibly, but I think the character will go through so much, she'll run out of options. If they show Luren maturing then possibly, but theres only so much teenage self destruction and moodiness the audience can tolerate

Jamie Borthwick (Jay)- Yes, I think the actors got a long future in the soap. Jay's very poopular and played well. I think they'll keep the trio of Lola,Abi and Jay in the show for as long as possible.

David Witts (Joey Branning) - I think a lot will depend on how the Joey/Lauren storyline goes to see if he can establish ties away from his dad. Also if they hire any new actors to fulfil the soaps sexiest male category.

Hetti Bywater (Lucy) - Another one I was unsure about. As a member of the Beale family, I'll think they want to keep her around but I dont see the actress staying around

Himesh Patel(Tamwar) - No, I think the whole family maybe gone in three years.Boring and dull


Rachel Bright(Poppy) - Just a filler so will be gone


Tony Discipline(Tyler Moon) - Definitely gone.


Danielle Harold(Lola Pearce)- Pretty guaranteed to stay around.The Mitchells are low on numbers as it is.


Lorna Fitzgerald(Abi Branning)-Yes,Ithink the Brannings will be quite depleted but Abi will still be there ( along with Max and Carol)

I chose the trinity of teens: Abi, Jay and Lola, because I hope they will still be in it. JJ as Lauren, probably, because JJ is a competent actress and Lauren is part of a central family. I also put Hetty thingy in there as Lucy, because Lucy is a character in a central family, but if Hetty is replaced I wouldn't be surprised.

I know Jay is a popular character but I can't help hoping that the actor will spread his wings and try his luck elsewhere. He's been there since he was a boy and needs see what else he can achieve. He can always return, but like Lacey, he should at least add some variety to his CV.

I agree with that from the point of view of whats best for Jamie but I still think he will be there in 3 years but maybe not 5 years?

I think you're probably right...another three years will only make him 20. After that he could strike out.

He was just one of the ones I didn't vote for because I think they could go on to bigger and better things. Shona and Himesh are two others I left off for pretty much the same reason...they should move on before the three years is up.

I personally think Shona,Tony and Himesh will be gone within 12 months.Well perhaps not Himesh although Tamwar is stagnating a bit.I guess Id put David Witts before Himesh in terms of likelihood to be gone within 12 months.

I think Joey could be gone, definitely Alice once daddy has gone. I could see Abi taking a break in a couple of years and Lauren leaving home...running away or going to stay with Raine. Tyler really has nothing to stay for, I think he and Whitney will break up.

In many ways to all intents and purposes from the viewers experience Tyler and Whitney have already broken up in the sense that TPTB have barely shown them together as a couple in 6 months.Their lack of popularity as a couple has been noted it seems! You think theyll split over the Joey kiss?

Danielle is the only one Im confident over because she said in a recent interview shed like to stay a longtime and didnt see EastEnders as a stepping stone.

This is Fats...he falls in and out of love at the drop of a hat. I wonder if he even knows what love is ? First Mercy, then Whitney and now Denise. It's not so much love as obsession...he smothers the poor women. A lonely man with no family he goes overboard with relationships. He has some growing up to do methinks I still think he has the makings of a lovely man, doormat or no. Some people are too nice...it takes all sorts.

He has his moments. I voted for Jay. Having the surname Mitchell certainly helps, and he is is a better performer than most on the poll list.
