there are many threads comparing the two http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1750903
here are 2 videos: 50 reasons why the S3 is better than the iphone and vice versa. http://www.androidauthority.com/ipho...-video-127552/ but for my money, unless you had very very specialist needs you'd have to be an idiot to buy an iPhone at the moment. the iphone 5 doesn't even compare well against the galaxy s2 |

I can explain in a few words:
if you want reliable phone with updates, and good support, light and robust go with iPhone 5. if you like to customize, big screen, like hacking and playing around, not afraid that new version of os may not come and you will need to root it go with SG3. |

S3. No brainer.
If you want a phone thats completely overpriced, looks exactly the same as every other iPhone for the last 2 years, is restricted to hell and back by Apple, then it's the iPhone 5. That's covered about everything

You should look at both and see which one best suits you. You might find that both do all you want and then it will come down to which user experience you prefer and of course which you can best afford.

If I got an S3 I know I'd regret it. Nothing feels as good as an iPhone for me. Why have cotton when you can have silk? That's just the way I feel.

Yep, iOS is always recommended for those with little or no brains.
![]() Alright, alright, just a bit of fun. ![]() Can only suggest what others have really and that is you need to get down a mobile shop and see both phones in action in the flesh so to speak. |

when you say 'feels as good' you are referring to the experience of touching it with your fingers? or are you doing something else with your phone?

![]() THIS is why people dont like (a percentage of) Apple users ![]() "If I got an S3 I know I'd regret it." .... fair enough "Nothing feels as good as an iPhone for me." ..... fair enough as thats opinion "Why have cotton when you can have silk?" .... pmsl. And so speaketh the word of Apple

Mars Foods - about Galaxy chocolate. In fairness, I'm not sure I can take these debates seriously anymore. A phone will do what you want the phone to do. If it doesn't, don't buy it. Work out what are, say, your ten most important things you want the phone to do - anything else is window dressing. If both phones do both, then go with the one you like best. |
