Ella Henderson

The girl who seems most likely to end up as the winner of this years X Factor.

Her audition in which she sang her own song

One of her most notable performances, cover of Cher's 'Believe'

Performance at judges houses of "I Won't Give Up"

Performance on the first live show of "Rule the World". Louis claims she is the best female singer since Leona

Performance on the second live show of "Loving You"

Performance on the third live show of "You've Got The Love"

Performance of 'Bring Me To Life'

Performance of Firework

The fact that a lot of them have many millions of views says it all really. A lot of people believe she is the best vocalist on XF for a while.

She is surely one of the biggest talents that come out of X-factor.

She can produce some beautiful vocals in her middle register that does remind me of Adele.

But she has also yet some lacking in her technic. Like her shifting breaking in other singing registers, a little strain notes in her upper register and her vibrato is sometimes more of a growl. But I'm sure she can fix that all in the future.

She can also write by her-self and arrange the songs she has to sing, so I think she can become big.

Maybe better for her to be the runner up than the winner, so she is out of the spotlight and concentrate on her own music.

Sorry but I don't see anything special about her. I think she's an average singing in a very lack luster year. She would've struggled to make an impression in previous years.

She's rubbish. Certainly nowhere near as good as Leona or Alexandra or a few other X Factor acts. She's just one of the front-runners in terrible bunch. She's nothing special at all.

Another X Factor no-mark.

No musician with genuine talent would be seen dead competing on that charade of a show.

You needn't be as a good singer as Leona or Alexandra to become a good musician. If I look at the renditions so far she is for me at the best with her own song and that can make the difference to the other girls.

Rubbish? She CAN sing in tune, and she has different qualities to her voice.

Her rendition of 'Firework' the other night sounded like a foghorn on stage, so yeah I guess she does have different qualities to her voice.

She has a nice tone to her voice but she lacks any sort of range. She can only song certain types of song within her limited range.

I feel sorry for Ella because Tulisa is looking after her.

Ella needs someone who's been around, with style & class to look after her, unfortunatelyTulisa has none of those qualities.

I fear for Ella, but hopefully she'll come through when this circus is over . . . .

Her range is quite right and besides asks anyone David Bowie or Elton John about vocal range? The GP wants good music. This is what she has to deliver.

If Ella can't win through against Tulisa and make her own music than she has no right to become a good artist, simple as that.

I think this thread should be in the X factor forum.

There are a number of threads already. I posted one here just to see what people who don't watch X Factor think of her voice.

I would agree on the fact that 'Bring Me to Life' wasn't a good choice, as Nicole mentioned it took away the 'epic finale' or whatever.

The theme they are having this week is 'Best of British'. What do you think could suit her voice?

I like her. Would buy her album

But she seems like another Adele type singer and there seems to be no edge that makes her stand out. There are so many amazing british females out there but she doesn't stick out.

She sang her own version of Written in the Stars last night, thoughts (for those who watched it)?

I'm not watching XF this year but she seems incredibly overrated. I did happen to flick through the channels last week I think it was and caught a bit of Firework. Poor. The only conclusion I can come to is that she's one of the better ones of a generally bad bunch this year.

I think she amazing but sometimes not very easy to listen to as she sounds like a car crunching through the gears instead of smoothly vocally. That's just a personal opinion.
However at 16 her transitions can easily be smoothed out and she has a great voice. In terms of the verses i can't remember any as i was naturally thinking of the Tinie rap instead.
