Weatherspoons is definitely the worst, terrible menu choice, food tastes like really bad airline meals.

I like Table Table, decent food at reasonable prices.

Don't really have a 'worst' although Burger King in Truro thoroughly depresses me every time I go past it.

I mentioned Strada.

Can't fault them, the food is excellent considering it's a big chain.

People might diagree

Worst:
Ask Italian
They didnt have normal bread rolls just stuff seasoned with Rosemary and Garlic which the taste felt like my Mouth was burning the Cream cheese dip/spread that came with it looked like it had already been eaten.
The Chips where Boiling hot (but nice once cooled) the Orange Juice was horrible.

and the worst thing was i was Sick straight after eating the chips.

I dont know if it was my personal dislike or i was unwell or just dodgy food?

Tend to avoid chains as we're lucky to have a lot of good independent restaurants locally and some really good pubs that do nice proper food.

Not really restaurants but the only chains I use are Dominos when we get a half price voucher and I occasionally fancy a Zinger burger from KFC, although I don't really like anything else they sell.

I hate wetherspoons, only go if I have to. Food is bland and I find it hard to chew

I like all other chains, great for a bite to eat when shopping, food is good. However I've found portions are getting smaller in most places

In other words there was nothing wrong with it - it is an Italian after all!

I like La Tasca. By far my favourite chain restaurant.
My worst is Nandos which I have yet to fathom what the hype is about and Wetherspoons is pretty vile too. It may be cheap but it's cheap for a reason.
I always think if I can make something better at home I would not go to a restaurant and pay for an inferiorversion of it and I could make anything from Wetherspoons menu 10 times better than the way they do. Not that they actually make anything on site, it will all be frozen muck.

I prefer the independents rather than the chains whether it's pubs/cafe's/takeaways, especially for Pizza, but i go to Burger King which i do like now & again. Never been to KFC as i'm not fussy on fried Chicken, even for independent takeaways i think it's overpriced, for 4 pieces of Chicken can cost £5 upwards.

I hate just about every chain restaurant there is. The only one I like is Handmade Burger Co, really nice burgers and chips are amazing!

Nandos is chicken and chips, I don't see why I should be paying £10 for it?
Pizza Hut is expensive Pizza, I'd rather pay the money and buy a dominos.
China Buffet King and every mass produced Chinese place is god awful.
And KFC once gave me food poisoning so I would never go there again.

There is a mexican place called Taco Mazama in Glasgow that makes the best burritos I have ever tasted, that isn't much of a chain as there is only two but worth a mention.

The best: Cafe Rouge, Prezzo, Chimi Changas, Zizzi.

The worst: KFC(greasy), Hungry Horse (full of the dregs of society), Pizza Hut, Little Chef, Beefeater, Brewers Fayre,

Best would be Browns, Las iguanas is ok.

Worst would be Nandos - Overpriced and the chickens not all that. Pizza Hut, the salad used to be nice 20 years ago but it's all vile now. Subways the worst bread ever. Blimpie's bread is far nicer and actually has the texture of bread, how I miss their subs!

Worst is definitely Frankie and Benny's. Never had a good meal there, it's just microwaved crap. I had one of the worst burgers of my life there, refused to pay for it. My sister bit into a chicken wing that was still frozen in the middle! Avoid!

Wahacca is my new favourite chain. Great priced, good quality Mexican 'street' food and even my 5 year old daughter will happily eat there without complaining!

Totally agree with you, I went to Frankie and Benny's a couple of weeks ago, one of the worst "meals" Ive ever had. Overpriced, tasteless and mircowaved to death.

We argued with the manager, they gave us some line about it being down to "personal taste" rather than anything being wrong with the food. Yep, its my personal taste to not want to pay good money to have my food microwaved.

Best - cafe rouge, delicious food bit pricey though (good thing I always use tesco vouchers)

Worst - Garfunkel's, only ever been once never will again quite possibly the worst restaurant meal I've ever had asked for a rare steak got something well done and cold and flat, horrible chips but at least they were hot as my girlfriends chips were stone cold and a salad bar that made a big deal about on the menu but looked nowhere even as good as an 80s pizza place and to top it all off terrible slow service (and so didnt have time to send the food back)

Food being too hot is a strange thing to criticise them for. Plus being sick immediately after eating something is unlikely to be the food.
