I won't be buying or downloading it. Nothing against Steve but I despise the song, absolutely hate hate hate it. It doesn't matter whether it's Phil Collins, Westlife or bloody Mariah Carey singing it, it still makes my ears bleed.
I'm just thankful that Steve isn't getting much airplay either on radio or on the music channels. The less I have to hear 'Against all Odds' the better.

I not only have Phil Collins version but saw him live (the best all round musician I have ever seen). My daughter has nicked the album and was cringing on Saturday night when he sung it, now I admit the studio version will be so much better but having Phil Collins singing it WTF would I want to

my worst half has all phill collins albums,but he has not dissed steve at all,phill will be happy if he wrote the song he will make a lot of money.
my worst half is a massive john lennon fan and eric clapton fan,he thinks steve is a good singer and a wothy winner,but his only gripe is all the other x factor contestants were crap.he said from the start steve has won this.

Phil could sing and blow some of this crap to XXXX PLease Phill Collincs get your many classicds reproduced re-released and get this guy blown out of the window. Ohter companies should take suit and get thier originals back on striaghtaway, remixed and produced

I thought from the start also, Steve might have it in the bag when I heard him sing. Just wish I had stung the bookies for a few quid out of it 
never thought to put a bet on Steve at the time
its another cover and i never buy covers unless they surpass the orginal. I liked Evanescence's cover of Thoughtless by Korn, (though not a single or b side). Evanescence made it their own and its certainly as good as the original and some may say even better than the original.
