I think it be best for both characters to part for now, Alfie needs a bit more life in him, his been too dog down by Kat and misery he use to be a laugh.

Great, now lets hope its long term relationship, they both need stability without loss of the fun side to both of them. Kat has been ruined and there is no way back for her now, they have completely trashed her character & I doubt the actress will like playing 2nd fiddle to Dean either after promises of big things & decent storylines if she came back.

This is really great news, I've wanted Alfie and Roxy to happen for ages; their chemistry is wonderful. I'm guessing the Kat affair comes out at Christmas then (and it's obviously Derek) and these scenes must be for some time in the new year?

Ans I really hope this isn't just a plot device for a Kat-Alfie reunion. Kat doesn't deserve happiness after this.

Been waiting for a shift in the Roxy-Alfie relationship, i love the idea of holding hands and so on, thats how it should, affectionate in their relationship, they have already got a great friendship bond etc

Their relationship is great, and actually one of my highlights of what has been a rather mediocre year. The episode when Roxy confessed her attraction to Alfie was just brilliant, I was praying they would finally get together. It's just nice to see a relationship that has grown slowly out of genuine affection rather than just another sordid affair - It's clear that Roxy really does love Alfie, and he deserves much better than that slag he calls his wife.

This. EE doesn't have good track record of splitting up couples for good so can't see this being any different unless Kat is leaving.

That headline saying that he does it to get his own back on Kat doesn't help. I hope he's not just using Roxy for revenge. She does tend to be gullible and it seems a bit quick.
