Is it just me or do the characters included in that funeral/wedding/christening (everyone's reporting different things: my money's on Lexi's christening) look like they're dressed for Spring instead of Winter/Christmas?

Why can't they just split Kat & Alfie up already and tell us the damn mystery shagger. I was patient with this storyline at the start, I gave it a chance but it is just taking the piss now. Get it over and done with.

Definately agree the way she confessed and what she said, also how she realised, how she became aware that this man is who she is in love with, and also she hasnt made a move physically at all...... which says alot
I just fear that Roxy will be nothing more than a plot contivence before Alfie reunites with Kat.
I don't think EE have any real intention of establishing Alfie and Roxy long term, and will eventually one way or another have Alfie back with Kat.
It doesn't matter that thier marriage has been toxic, she continues to treat him like dirt and has been unfaitful a number of times, EE will get them back together because it's Kat and Alfie.
Also are these scenes when Alfie and Kat are still together? because it won't help Roxy's character if they are.
Still, though, Roxy could easily be seen as rebound if Alfie has split from Kat, rather than Alfie 'choosing' to be with her, which isn't great either.

Roxy will never be the love of Alfie's life. No matter the shit Kat's done to him, he and her have been through some things together, and back in the day, they had fantastically happy times and moments. Hopefully, Roxy is being used as a plot device, because her and Alfie together= mess.
We haven't really seen Alfie with anyone else other then Kat and a brief thing with Lil Mo, its clear that both Alfie and Kat's storylines have stalled in terms of quality and development the show would be mad to allow Kat's frequent infidelity to go unpunished and for them to continue on the merry go round that is their broken marriage.
If the storyline team have any sense and it seems they finally have then them splitting up is the only way forward for theses two to get any rejuvenation back as characters, they need new interactions and storylines away from each other, bringing back some of the old character's personalities.
Nobody is denying that they are the love of each others life's but what magic that made them special has now gone, I'd was dubious when they first announced there return, they had there happy ending and it was satisfying for viewers and one would hope with them being away for 5 years they could come up with some good material but if the truth is known its just rubbished them as characters most of there storylines have to do with Kat's bed hopping and cheating and Alfie constantly being a doormat, its made them unlikable and repetitive.
Although I'm not a huge Roxy fan, it be nice to see him paired with someone else and to start to have some realism and life back in the characters.

Really? I don't remember them being in a relationship before, so I'm surprised to hear this. When were they together? Was it as bad as you say?

I don't think Alfie/Roxy have any romantic chemistry whatsoever.
They work well as friends and that's it - Roxy has more romantic chemistry with both Michael and AJ who are more her type.
This also ruins probably the only male/female friendship on the show and sends out the message men can't be friends with women. There was never any romantic feeling between Roxy and Alfie when they first became friends. There was even a storyline where Kat was jealous of their friendship and both scoffed at her jealousy. Then their friendship was dropped during the babyswap era and only revisited this year as a plot device for this storyline it would seem.
I am a huge fan of Roxy's character and can't see her going for anyone like Alfie in a million years. I hope this is one of BK's ideas as he had a lack of understanding about so many characters that this would fit in more with his vision than the new EP's I would've thought. Plus he started the Alfie/Roxy rubbish originally.
