Not sure if i've had standard pork sausages from Debbie & Andrew's but other varieties in their range are very nice.
Dicksons are good. To be fair though the supermarkets are getting better. There are alot more artisan type in thier own ranges. |

Started making my own sausage 6 months ago, as I found the supermarket 'best' ones, Spoit Pig, Black Farmer etc were all very disappointing. I got fed up of the shrinkage, and also didn't feel the quality was any good. Found a sausagemaking forum, and it's great- a doddle to make and I know exactly what I'm eating.

Costco do some lovely sausages. The pork and caramelised onion ones are especially nice, very savoury and moorish (and 75% min. pork)

Morrisons do some really nice own brand sausages now... I particularly like their pork, venison and merlot, and Toulouse styles.

Rarely eat 'plain' sausages, but Debbie & Andrews and Supreme Sausages are pretty good quality and taste good as well.

Which Asda sausages are best ?
In my opinion, if a sausage has too little meat content, they are horrible, but then if they have TOO MUCH meat content, they are horrible ! I tasted some 85% meat sausages and they were awful. Dry and coarse |

We tend to get any high meat content sausage 85% plus, and they are mostly very nice. I agree with the above post that the thinner sainsbury Taste The diff chipolatas are very good)
some of the less expensive M&S ones (the large packs often have in the 3 for £10 selections) , and Tesco's finest (been half price recently) are only about 75% meat, but they are also good value. |

I like Jamie Oliver's coarse textured Italian style sausages. They are divine.

For ordinary everyday fry ups it's got to be the old Richmond ones. 20 mins in the oven all the fat runs out and then stuff them in bread,a roll or a baguette or serve with bacon and eggs Lovely!
