No, he was talking loudly! It was so weird.
Perhaps he couldn't hear himself over Kat's outfit.

SPOILER ALERT: EastEnders' Alfie Moon finally gets his own back on cheating Kat as he enjoys romance with Roxy Mitchell
Oh, BK....... It'd be great if they had the balls to split Kat & Alfie for good. But they won't. |

My headcanon is: holiday in states, Syed meet the inlaws, time focussing on them as a couple, move back to UK, open their own gym and massage business together in Brum, move into a lovely house, have regular contact with Yasmin, Amira gets bored, Yasmin goes back to live with her dad's

Hmm, I hope it's a genuine thing. Alfie and Roxy have pretty good chemistry and are a hundred times more fun to watch than the same Alfie and Kat scene over and over. 'You slept with someone else?!' 'I'm a dirty girl Alvee, I can't help myself' 'Okay I forgive you. But this is your last chance!!!' lather, rinse, repeat.
It'd be great if they had the balls to split Kat & Alfie for good. But they won't. I think EastEnders have no intention of splitting up Kat and Alfie. They'll be like Max and Tanya, in that no matter how many times they cheat on each other, they'll continue to take each other back. At least with Chryed it's just once (a one night stand). Still awful but I can get past it. However I don't know how EE can throw endless affairs at couple and then expect the audience to still want them together. What was it that BK said? Oh yes... "people like to see Kat and Alfie miserable" Where does he get his information from? Bollox.com?

Roxy's been as much of an extra as Chryed have. They really haven't known what to do with her since Ronnie left and with Christian going she doesn't really have any friends on the square so not surprising she would drift back to Alfie.

I wonder within the next year or so if the actress that plays Roxy will leave as her best mate Johnny has now left and Ronnie is not there. She is a spare part . And Alfie and her wont last.

I think I must be the only one who doesn't have a problem with Amira wanting to have Yasmin return to live with her. I'm surprised that so many others are so adamant that this is terrible and a Bad Thing for Yasmin. I'd feel a damn sight more sorry for Yasmin if Amira had decided to give up full custody to Chryed so she could swan off and start afresh with no baggage.
We don't know how long Chryed have had Yasmin with them full-time because as per usual it hasn't been dealt with on screen. Certainly we've had scripts earlier in the year which indicated that Chryed were babysitting rather than her living with them. Also, Amira didn't disappear without a trace - she's been travelling but keeping in touch, there was never a hint that she was no longer on the scene and no longer interested. I'm not a fan of Amira but I can't say that, if it has to come down to a choice, that she is less fit than Chryed to be Yasmin's main caregiver. Should she have taken off for weeks without Yasmin? Ideally no, but the past couple of years damaged her badly...she needed time and space to get herself on track and I take the view that in the long run this break will make her a better mother and a better person. She's now found someone she can love who loves her in return, someone with whom she can build a life and who's willing to embrace her and her daughter; a year ago she would never have imagined such a future could be possible. Yes, it's a stretch that Amira has found someone she wishes to settle down with so quickly, but in the grand scheme of unbelievable Chryed plot contrivances, I think we have bigger fish to fry than the ex-wife's speed dating technique, or worrying that the fiance may well turn out to be a paedophile or serial killer off-screen. There's been nothing on screen to suggest that Amira doesn't love Yasmin as much as Syed and Christian do, that she is less capable of being a good parent, or that she had ever relinquished custody of her. The interviews we've had (no actual on-screen explanation, heaven forbid) have indicated Chryed knew from the outset that Yasmin living with them full-time was only a temporary arrangement. It's horrible that it comes down to an either/or custody situation, but this happens when parents separate and then move on. So tough, but it's perfectly normal for Amira to want to grab her newfound happiness with both hands, to move to start her new life and for her daughter to be a part of that. Amira was clearly sensitive to the fact that this was going to be a huge blow to Syed/ Chryed, I thought she came across reasonably enough in the circumstances. |

I think it's only a matter of time before Rita waves goodbye, and I know the Masoods are still a family unit but I can't see them being in the show for more than two years now either.

VF - I actually agree.
*slaps self to check if still sane* Amira was OK. I mean, it's Amira so you know, but I thought she was quite delicate. For her. |

I see where you're coming from vf.
However I think Yasmin should have all 3 of her parents in her life. And by Amira turning up and demanding Yasmin go with her to Birmingham she is taking Yasmin away from the father's she knows and loves. In order to have regular contact with Yasmin they will have to uproot their entire lives to another part of the country just because Amira is marrying some man she barely knows, it's very unfair imo. No consultation with Chryed, just turns up and demands Yasmin comes with her. And personally I think Chryed are way better parents because they capable of love and selflessness, two things which Amira isn't. All she cares about is herself, if she cared about Yasmin she wouldn't be taking her away from her settled, loving home. |

She has every right to want her daughter to live with her full time. She has main custody so its not like they cant visit and so on. But this is Cryed thread so i get the negativity on her taking Yasmin even its if shortsighted in some ways. |
