Yeah it's not bad.

Oh and AR if you're off catching up, DON'T. It'll kill Chryed for you. Keep the memories untarnished
BIB: I wish I could keep my memories untarnished EE are to cruel!! I feel cheated in particular out of the CP. Three and half years of waiting and they give us that i.e. lies, bailiffs, running away etc .

Evening loves

Congrats to shortiefluff

Went to the last two shows of Tape today with lots of lovely Chryedains, had a wonderful time! Can't wait to see what he does next

Odd thinking that there's no point even checking soap scoop at midnight....!

That's a good point.. maybe I should do that. I remember it pretty fondly atm so... I should keep it that way and just watch the nice bits

I wasn't off doing that though, was reading philosophy/dancing round the kitchen and miming passionately to the classic love song hour on the radio...

She can watch the stag do and the wedding! As long as she doesn't know what comes next.

And it hasn't tarnished anything for me tbh. I am laughing bitterly at a couple of Syed's lines but apart from that real!Chryed and exit!Chryed occupy different parts of my mind or something.
Yh...........I wish I'd stopped watching at certain points though.

Right bed time. I'm determined to spend as much time as possible on here next week. Cos, er, you know nostalgic reasons (read: no life :sleep

Need to save some clips/fic for later.

You've probs read it but I re-read lb's 'A Strange and Forbidden Garden' the other night and it's .... there aren't enough superlatives for that fic. It's booootiful.

I have SO MUCH work to do. And I've completely wasted today. Gah. Oh, well, time enjoyed wasting etc.

No I've never read it. Or anything l_b's ever written. It's definitely not on my Kindle. (Though lol someone asked to see my Kindle and I have all this legit stuff on it, I use it a lot for school so I have like 'Wuthering Heights' etc. Naturally, though, when someone asked to see it the last thing I had read was 'The Nightwatchman' and I'm like 99% sure it was at the rimming bit. One button clicked and it would've all been over for me.)

Hi Elphie

Did you get to speak to him after his last show. How was he feeling? Love hearing reports on meeting the boys. They seem so giving to their fans.

Hello! I have been LOVING the commentary about oldschool!Chryed. Made for a really great catch up!

I was in Dublin today to see American Idiot the Musical. I know no one here really cares but it was amazing I got my programme signed by some of the cast members and got a photo with one of the main guys So a good day was had by me. Hope everyone who was at Tape had a brilliant time too!

I saw that the ep of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire that Johnny recorded today is being broadcast on the 8th Dec...ie opening night of panto Watching on my laptop in a hotel room in Notts ftw

Congrats Shortiefuff on your new addition to the family! And heyyy AR, good to see you!

Afternoon : )

Couple of script snippets in today's Mirror mag..

"Rox, I just need to do something different, Christian tells his tearful best pal.
"There are too many memories here."

"I've wasted too much time on a hypocrite," Syed fumes. "Go on, run away...."
Ouch! Thank you for those

Johnny and Jon looking lovely in the audience of Strictly tonight : )

https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...67940462_n.jpg
Love them Thank you!

By way of contrast, I'm watching DC Week. I love it so, so, so much. I thought it'd be tainted or something but it's so not. I have such a huge smile on my face watching it. It's nice to be reminded why I loved them so much.

Also this? Is hilarious in retrospect. What happened to you, Syed, you used to be cool.
Aww, this made me smile too!
Lmao Syed, your standards have slipped big time.

Ah well. The thread is dead. This is all so sad, so close to the end, and the threads flamin' dying.: (
Oh I'm sure it's just that everyone was out at Tape! The thread will go on for a while yet I reckon. We'll have lots to discuss next week I'm sure.

I'm up to the Thursday now, it's going too quickly. :cry : I somehow forgot 'Clarkey' was in the 'you weren't so shy earlier' scene and realised I officially no longer find it cringey. Score! Nothing beats 'love in the afternoon' though- Syed's disappointed little face when Christian has to, like, work for a living. : ( And the look on his face when he realises Tam has caught him out perving.
Haha! Awesome. Maybe you should watch all the things you think you find cringey and see if your opinion's changed. May I recommend Hiya Love? /hides

Just a bit..

I LOVED that. I mean, not the fact that it was offscreen  but the fact that they talked about the future, hypothetically, when they didn't think their future was together (:cry : ) is just gorgeous to me.

Oh, I love the sofa shove during gay bar so much- the gentle teasing and flirty banter. Chemistry is off the scale. edit: I love Tanyed too. I really wish they'd kept at that. It was such a good little partnership.

edit: yes, liking scenes has become a novelty. :sleep : 'Not disliking scenes' has become more like it.
Loving your descriptions. And bib, me too. Would you be surprised if I said the thought made me teary?

Reasons I love Vic Fire (ie. How to work being a background scene character)

- Z rescues Syed :cry :
- We see C dash past a banshee Peggy. Made me LOL at his complete lack of concern
- The blink and you'll miss it scene where C is smother-hugging Sy, rocking him gently with his folks looking down all helpless. Yum
- C gives Syed his coat, cos I'm sure he's cold around all the fire /overprotective cuteness
- We get to see Chryed hugging like they're about to slow dance at the disco
Love!
I really want to watch some Chryed now

Yes was lucky enough to meet him again Was a lot of us so was mainly signing and having photos, we spoke a bit about the con and told him how great the play was and that we couldn't wait to see what he was in next and he was like 'see you there'

I really want to watch some Chryed now
He wouldn't even take him on a date there once now he's happy to marry him there to save money?! Oh, Christian, you really should've known.

:sleep::sleep: Just to put it in context, a list of 'least rewatchable eps':

1) You Know What I Mean When I Say 'That Friday Episode'
1.5 'Hiya luv'
3) BF

You should! It's made me feel so much better, because I was worried all this would taint Chryed for me but it hasn't at all . Watch DC Week!!! My face literally hurt from smiling/laughing after I watched it.

You, teary?! But you've been so stoic of late!

That's actually hilarious. I hope Christian brought it up.

Oh, you're kidding. But you've never actually watched it have you?! You're weird.

I'm totally watching DC week, like right now.

I have a heart of stone.

Watched what? Hiya luv? Yeah! How would I know I hated it if I hadn't watched it?! I was so cringed-out that my brain might have blocked out bits to protect me but I definitely had my eyes open and my eyes on the screen as it aired.

Good girl. There's so much good there. More good in 3 eps than we've had in 2012 altogether probably.

edit: this makes EE look thrilling. #sogladi'mdonewiththisshow.

Soooo glad I only have to watch EE for 3 more eps!! Watched since I was like 7 but can't wait to not have to watch any more, just don't like it any more! Will try and catch up with Masood family stuff though, they're pretty much the only characters I care about!!

Thanks for sharing Just remembered we never saw photo's been released of his press night. That would have been interesting and good promotion.

God, yeah, me too. I am so done. I was done with it anyway but now?! Super duper done.

Watching post-gay bar argument. 'I'm a one-man man'.

*ugly sobbing* Oh, Syed, what have they done to you. Another good thing about watching these eps is they remind me why I adore Syed so much. I was starting to forget!

Oh, I thought for some reason you'd never actually watched it. Maybe it was that you'd never re-watched it. Which would make more sense.

It's a brilliant week, so much is addressed - Syed making himself at home (and a bloody great mess) and then facing his parents and seeking strength from Christian; being paranoid over DD's comments, then jealous at the mattress guy, his faith and Christian trying to understand it, public displays of affection (ie holding hands in front of your brother in your flat is worse than telling the market you want to go back to bed for love in the afternoon) and knowing Tam is on his side. It's just sooo goooood.

Love the focus experimentation in those HO pics. Good for a photography portfolio. And no comment on the EE one.

He is a one man man....EE are just stupid and don't care about Chryed or characters being in character
They'll be safe away from Walford in 3 eps time...phew!!

BiB: I just want to point out that Syed looks guiltier for 'ruining' Christian's flat with flour than he did last night after cheating on Christian and marrying him on a lie. But, yes! I love Syed just getting totally carried away with the food preparation because he's so happy. It's gorgeous.

BiB2: LOVE this. And blatantly perving on your boyfriend in public when he's at work? Totally fine. A hand-touch in front of your brother? Naughty.

Thanks so much for pointing that out but yeah! I'd be so pissed if I came home to that mess but Christian is just like

I live to serve. Ha, Christian is just like for about 20 seconds and it's obviously put on but Syed looks so worried. And then he says the line about 'Basra' and Syed looks so relieved. It's so cute. It's like he expects Christian to kick him out on the street for getting flour all over.

Okay, I've somehow managed to watch, like, 3 clips in a row where Syed's really trying to be pissed off at Christian but it lasts about 30 seconds. Seriously, man, if Christian had done what Syed had done these past couple of weeks they would've been back together for a week now. He's actually terrible, it's hilarious.

Yeah! It's hilarious. I also love "I never had anything else better to do...now I have - i.e you."

Yeahh, it's funny isn't it? Syed just can't do anger. Especially not at Christian. I love where he's fully laying into Christian during the giant seagull scene ("You destroy EVERYTHING you touch") and all Christian has to do is put on a little hat and Syed's totally forgotten why he was angry

Cannot believe I wrote 'flower' instead of 'flour'. /forever cringing. I am really REALLY tired.

Haha, oh, yeah! But I was watching the episode after gay bar and Syed is genuinely angry there and then Christian sort of looks a bit sad and you can just see Syed go 'awww' mentally. Say what you want about Syed but his capacity for forgiveness is infinite.

Aww, yeah, I love that. I think it's one of the fundamental things that they have in common - their capacity for forgiveness, and ability to forgive. I think that was said at the con actually!
